Up next in our used orange boats for sale is a pristine 13' SOTAR legend cataraft. This is a solid Class 5 rig that was used on Class 3 a handful of times, and it shows. Tubes are perfect except for a couple of strap chafes. Serial number indicates they are 2010 vintage. Hardly used and stored correctly. Comes with a powdercoated steel one piece rowing frame with adjustable rowers seat and a rear bay for cooler & gear. We're looking to get $4500 for tubes, frame and straps. A set of 3 - 9' Cataract oars with oarrights, sleeves and blades is available for an additional $675. E-mail me at [email protected] with any questions. Because the frame is one piece this is for local pickup only in Petaluma.

Just a heads up local paddlers, the downtown turning basin will be closed periodically starting in November. We're looking forward to the new docks where we'll be able to launch our demo kayaks.

Great news, Petaluma! The docks at the Petaluma River Turning Basin are coming back and they’re going to be better than ever. 🚤⛵️ [español abajo]

The aging docks within the Turning Basin on the river between the back of the River Plaza shopping center and Weller Street were removed in 2022 to allow for dredging. This necessary removal has given us an opportunity to replace the aging docks with new ones that will provide the following:

- Increased river access for our community
- Pedestrian access between River Plaza and Weller Street
- A public launch area for small craft, such as kayaks and paddleboards
- Docking space for visiting boaters
- Access to potable water and power
- Increased safety via a new fire suppression system
- Construction of the new docks will begin in mid-October and will continue through January 2024. During this time, please be aware:
- Traffic delays may occur. The D Street drawbridge will be lifted periodically in October and November to allow construction equipment to be brought in on barges.
- As dock piles are installed, Noise and vibration may be experienced in the area in mid-late November.
- For safety reasons, the Turning Basin will be closed to recreational boaters, and bridge opening requests may not be possible during certain construction activities.

Check out this Eddyline Samba Kayak! Made for the small to medium sized paddler, this lightly used 2013 model has since been renamed the Sitka ST by Eddyline.

The hull and rigging in this used Samba are the same as the Sitka ST, but the seat is slightly different.

This particular boat has a few light scratches in the bottom, and the deck presents as new. It uses a back band style seat back which provides good back support.
