Kevin is improving slowly. He’s able to breathe on his own during the daytime hours. Gets a little help at night. I told him to start exercising his fingers so he can flip me off. That got a smirk out of him

Kevin was wide awake today. He was able to shake his head yes & no. Starting to get frustrated with the trach & all the tubes. Even gave me a couple dirty looks LOL

Kevin woke up today!
God is SO Good!
Intubation tube is being replaced with a tracheotomy and a PEG tube will be inserted into his stomach.
