The Winston-Salem Sail and Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons. We serve the greater Winston-Salem, NC area which includes Forsyth County and the adjoining counties of Davie, Yadkin, Surry, Stokes, & Davidson. The Winston-Salem squadron was formed in 1959, and in 2001 added “Sail” to its name to reflect the fact that it is not limited to power boaters. Members inland boat

Join your District friends and fellow squadron members for the Fabulous D27 Rendezvous in
Washington, NC August 2 – 3, 2024. Our Host this year is America’s Boating Club of the
Pamlico.
Known as “The Original Washington”, our host city is rich in historical significance,
scenic waterfront and abundant natural beauty and is an enticing destination for boaters.
This will truly be a rendezvous to remember so sign up today! Don’t miss it and mark your

Monday Zoom meeting scheduled for the 4th has been moved to the 5th. per Bill, same time.
National Safe Boating Week May 20-26
Most boating incidents reported to the NC Wildlife Commission last year occurred in the months of May, June, and July. 148 incidents were recorded, resulting in 20 deaths. Of those deaths 16 were not wearing a life jacket. Wherever you’re boating, wear a life jacket and follow basic safety practices to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable boating experience.
