📢 Today in chapel, our students learned about the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) and the call to make disciples of all nations! 🌎 We are excited to support this mission through our missions offerings, which this semester will go to Lutheran Bible Translators, helping bring God’s Word to people in their heart languages. 💬📖

Fun fact: Did you know today is National Bow Tie Day? 🎉👔 A perfect reminder to stay "tied" to our mission of spreading the Gospel everywhere! We had some brave students (that were wearing bow ties) lead us in a group Chapel Song titled "My God is so big" this morning!

Mrs. Reinhard shared the story of Cain and Abel with her class and encouraged them to think of how they could respond if they were upset or sad. In beautiful kindergarten words "Take a deep calm breath" and "Give a big kind hug" were shared!

How often do you get to hold a spider? 🕷 Mr. Walker found a little guy sneaking through class and created the opportunity for students to take a close look! He put it in the special bug box so that students could to safely hold it, then took it to recess with us so that others could take turns seeing a spider up close - how cool! When everyone had a turn they released it into the tall grass, but only after naming him, Frankie. 🕸

🎉📚 We are so excited to welcome our students back for another fantastic school year here at CrossLife Christian Academy! 🙌✨

It’s hard to believe we’re already one week in, and we couldn’t be prouder of how our amazing kids are adjusting to new routines, making new friends and engaging in the class lessons. From excited faces in the classrooms to joyful chatter on the playground, it’s clear that the kid's are enjoying the school community!

A special thanks to our amazing members of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that have been hard at work this summer assembling new additions which include a Gaga ball pit 🤾, Picnic tables, an outdoor activities restock⚾️🥅 (and closet cleanup) and an airplane teeter totter ✈️!

We cannot wait to see the joy on the children's faces as they return to campus this Wednesday!😀

Kids at Vacation Bible School are having a party celebrating their Joy for Jesus and making new friends! 🫧

As we wrap up our week praising Jesus together we learned how Jesus appeared to two of his disciples on their journey to Emmaus. Jesus is our friend AND Jesus is near to us - how cool! What confidence this is for kids and grown ups alike! Jesus’ love fills us with Joy and we can rejoice in confidence he is with us always!!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)

Kids at Vacation Bible School are having a party celebrating Jesus and playing fun games! 🎈

Today we celebrated VIP Fun Day with special grown ups in our lives. We shared with them the Bible stories we’ve been learning this week, taught them our VBS Cheer, played keepy-uppy and sang them the songs we are learning!

We celebrated the joy that Jesus died and rose again, for US! “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen” (Matthew 28:5-6)

Kids and families have so many reasons to celebrate Jesus as Savior! Today, we thanked Jesus because he cares so much for us. Just like he miraculously multiplied 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish to feed over 5,000 people, Jesus takes care of us today. More than that, Jesus gives us blessings so that we can care for others.

“Jesus gave the bread and fish to the disciples … and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were full!” (Matthew 14:19,20)

Kids at Vacation Bible School are having a party celebrating Jesus and learning Bible stories! 🥳

Over 100 kids are joining the party this week with our theme “Celebrate the Savior: Jesus Gives Us Joy.” We’re having a blast with the carnival atmosphere! Would it surprise you that some kids couldn’t make it today because they were sick? Parents have way too much experience with sick kiddos. More than that, moms and dads can get sick, too. More than that, disorders and diseases, cancer and chronic pain, mental health struggles and injuries make life more challenging than we’d like. Today we celebrated the joy of Jesus’ healing in our lives.

“This amazed everyone and they praised God.” (Mark 2:12)

The Jesus party started at Vacation Bible School today! Kids are celebrating the Savior with faith-filled cheers, acts of love and interactive Bible teaching. Such an amazing way to celebrate summer - Praising Jesus + FUN! 🎡

The Vacation Bible School theme is "Celebrate the Savior: Jesus Gives Us Joy." Kids can get so grumpy when life doesn’t go their way, right? But, wouldn’t you agree, it can be tough being a kid these days! Jesus and the Bible teach kids how to be happy even when life is hard, and especially when we enjoy so many blessings. Woo hoo!

Today we talked about how Christmas gives us joy because Jesus is the gift! We learned about the Bible story ... "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord” that news gives “great joy for all the people.” (Luke 2:10,11)

CrossLife Christian Academy is excited to welcome Mrs. Cassie Reinhard as our new Kindergarten teacher for the 2024/25 school year! Cassie and her husband, Jesse, are moving from Houston, TX to become part of the CLCA community. 🦁 Cassie has been teaching for over 10 years! She and her husband are Packers fans and love the outdoors. Welcome Mrs. Reinhard! ✝

The rain didn't stop these awesome superheroes from having a SUPER time on field day! In addition to field day super games, the students (and some parents!) participated in a fun ride/ trike race to raise funds for playground improvements! A huge thank you to the PTO, parent volunteers and teachers for making this event possible.
