Today was absolutely a beautiful chaos! So many walked through door doors today at the MHEC baby shower and left with alot of items. All those donation runs come together for this day and it's always worth it in my mind. Now to relax, celebrate a huge win and prep & plan for the next event this fall.

I am so thankful for this entire carload of donations from our friends ! are actively gearing up for our upcoming FREE community babyshower on Sunday, May 5th, from 11a-3p. If you want to volunteer, register, or meet up to give me donations, please reach out.

It's that time of year again. The MHEC Community Baby Shower is right around the corner. This absolutely FREE baby shower is to help families in need. Our community shows up in a big way everytime and im so thankful to be apart of it for these past 4yrs as a GALS Birthworker. # #

This no drama Llama Mama is relaxing after a successful community baby shower today. We served so many families, and I can't wait to know the final total. I am thankful to everyone who donated and volunteered to make this possible.

I'm doing my happy dance 💃 for these amazing donations for our upcoming community baby shower on Saturday, October 21st, from 11a-3p. It truly takes a village, and im so thankful to be a support person in mine. Thank you Austin Doula Care & Doula 360.

GALS Birthworker 1st always.. Love seeing the community lend a helping hand. Met up in BUDA with a mom who donated 6 trash bags full of Baby girl clothes 0-3T and a baby pillow and breastplate. She was so happy to hear how her donations will serve families in need and is hoping to scounge up more items for our upcoming free baby shower next month.

This is a real thing unfortunately. Know your rights! Advocate for yourself and seek 2nd or 3rd opinions, I know it's frustrating but don't give up. Don't EVER feel you have to take what is told to you at face value. YOU know your body better than anyone.

Recently due to unexpected family health issue I put my best foot foreword and made sure I advocated as best I could for an illness I don't know alot about. I asked questions of EVERYONE it didn't matter if it was the Nurse, Doctor to even the Pharmacist. I looked to the family member to ensure they understood all that was told to them and spoke up to ask questions when the information seemed to be filled with medical terms and flew over their head at times. I ensured They felt comfortable about their care and the future of their health.

Why am I telling you this... What's the point if it's not about Reproductive Doula services.

The point is I ADVOCATED for an individual so they knew their personal health rights. I was a DOULA of Everything for my family member. This was THEIR BODY!! They should be able to make conscious and valid decisions with the support of another individual if they want. They should feel discomfort saying No, Can I have a 2nd Opinion, Can we Reassess this treatment plan at a later time to any healthcare professional and even in hospital setting.

This just goes to show a DOULA can be used in ANY situation. You should never feel you have to face anything alone.

Hello all! Putting my face out here for the first time as a business owner is intimidating. What to say or not say about who you are & what you stand for is confusing.

So here I am.. me- Rosie C of Llama Love Doula Services of Atx. I can go on and on of how I came to this exact point in my life where I needed this, this passion becoming a reality.. but let's skip all that for now. Know these things about me

1- I am a caregiver, always have been and always will be. I love mothering individuals.

2- No one should go through any step of their lives alone, no one should suffer in a toxic environment, no one should be made to seem small minded about their questions & feelings. And above all no one should feel they are less than spectacular.

3- I will give you as much of myself(within boundaries)as I can to ensure you see my whole heart present in any space. When I give you my time I mean it.

You will start seeing me more & more over next couple of months as I get my bearings. I hope that I reach even just 1 individual into thinking about this Llama loving mama..as your doula, and as your Friend. ,
