Last week, DiSandro & Malloy, P.C. partner Kevin Malloy, Esq. had the opportunity to visit a second grade class at Richboro Elementary with his dog, Cadie, who is certified as a Therapy Dog. This was a great event organized through Nor'wester Therapy Dogs: Canine Partners in Education to reward the students for their citizenship, behavior, and academic achievement.

Kevin and his wife, Kathy, frequently volunteer their services by bringing Cadie to various places in need of companionship such as nursing homes, schools, and library reading programs for children.

Congrats to DiSandro & Malloy, P.C. Attorney John King for once again winning the wing bowl at 1760 Market Street!

John won the wing bowl leading up to the 2018 Eagles' Super Bowl win. We are excited for the pattern to continue this year.

Kevin Malloy and DiSandro & Malloy, P.C. are proud to have represented Don Feliciano who turned a tragedy into something positive to help his community. Don Feliciano sustained life-changing injuries after being struck by a truck while walking his dog, Bailey. A loyal companion, Bailey remained by his side following the accident until police and EMTs arrived.

To honor Bailey’s legacy, Don Feliciano used part of the proceeds from his settlement to fund the first dog park in Page County Virginia which is named Bailey’s Legacy Dog Park.

Don’s act of kindness and generosity also inspired Kevin Malloy and his wife Kathy, to become certified Therapy Dog handlers through The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. as well as having their dog, Cadie, certified as a Therapy Dog. Kevin and his wife volunteer their services by bringing their dog to various places in need of companionship such as nursing homes, schools, and library reading programs for children.

We are halfway through January and if you are like us, you may not be perfectly maintaining your New Year's Resolution (but it's the effort that counts!). Therefore, DiSandro & Malloy, P.C. wants to help with a belated resolution that will be easy to keep:

Let DiSandro & Malloy, P.C. review your auto insurance policy to ensure you and your family are fully protected in the event of an automobile accident!

To make this resolution even easier, this is a free service!

We cannot stress enough the importance of knowing the coverages on your auto insurance policy. Such coverages include uninsured coverage and underinsured coverage which many people are unfamiliar with.

In short, these are the coverages on your own policy that would provide coverage in the event you or your family member is injured in an accident and the person who caused the accident either does not have insurance or does not have enough insurance.

Far too often, we are contacted by individuals who were seriously injured by a driver with no insurance or too little insurance. Pennsylvania and New Jersey only require $15,000 in insurance. If you are involved in an accident resulting in serious injuries that prohibit you from working, your medical bills and wage loss alone would likely far exceed the at-fault driver's insurance if they only have the state minimum. This could be financially devastating for your family without the correct coverages on your own policy.

As such, we are always willing to review your insurance policy free of charge to ensure you are carrying the appropriate coverages. You can simply email our office ([email protected]) a copy of your current declaration sheet and we will provide our recommendations.

Rob received his undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph’s University, where he graduated cm laude, and his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law, where he graduated cm laude.

Rob began his legal career at a regional claimant’s workers’ compensation firm before transitioning to a civil litigation defense firm where he defended claims arising from construction accidents, workplace injuries, and product liability matters over the past five years. He worked on a trial team with the lead partner who was regularly retained on the eve of trial for catastrophic injury cases unable to be resolved. Additionally, this team was often tasked with conducting mock jury focus groups.

Rob is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, in New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the District of New Jersey. He has also been admitted to practice pro hac vice in Delaware and New York.

At DiSandro & Malloy, P.C., he will utilize his skills developed over the years as a member of the defense bar to prosecute plaintiff’s personal injury claims with a focus on construction accidents, workplace injuries, and product liability matters.
