Weāre running our off-season program back another 5 weeks. This is where we focus on the characteristics of athleticism including getting stronger, faster, more explosive and more resilient to help limit overuse injuries. The skills and team coaches focus on the sport, we focus on making the athlete.

If youāre looking to improve your athletic performance, Pride Fit Training is offering a 5 week, 2 session/week program at $400.
Monday & Wednesday | 6 Athletes per group
Ages 8-10: 12pm - 1pm
Ages 11-13: 1pm - 2pm
Ages 14-17: 2pm - 3pm & 3pm - 4pm
The off-season is the time to start improving the characteristics of athleticism outside of skill work or team work. As we approach the season, this is where we start to combine our athletic abilities with the skills of the sport into competition. Pride Fit Training will help you become faster, stronger, more powerful and increase endurance.

Reality: you will absolutely see a difference if you clean up your diet; However, you will absolutely, most definitely, see BETTER results if you know how much youāre consuming and have a plan on consuming exactly what you need to reach your goal.
For example, if you set a goal to save a certain amount of money a month, do you plan out your spending or just wait to see what your checking account looks like at the end of that month.

PrideFit Training is pleased to welcome David Polisano to the Team!
David is a Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. Davidās areas of interests include post operative rehabilitation, return to sport, and vestibular rehabilitation.
A graduate of Penn State Hazleton and Penn State Berks, David holds a Bachelorās degree in Kinesiology and an Associateās degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. Davidās favorite part about physical therapy is developing relationships and providing individualized care to help clients get back to doing the things they love. David takes pride in using evidence based practice to find solutions for clients to overcome barriers and lead a healthier, more fulfilled life.
Outside of work, David is an Assistant Coach for the Roman Catholic Boys Basketball team. Other hobbies/interests include golf, working out, and pickleball.

So many times I see athletes load up the bar and I cringe when I see the results. Either they lack the motor control to perform the lift, they werenāt taught the lift enough to execute or the weight is just too much.
Being able to complete certain movement patterns efficiently should be the base of any good program before adding load.

About 5 years ago, Ed decided to make a drastic change in my life. Ed was overweight, out of shape, and pushing 30. This discomfort with himself submerged himinto the world of exercise. After several years of consistent weight training, Ed noticed a difference physically and mentally to who he was. This caused his passion for fitness to gain ever stronger. Eventually he wanted to use this passion to help others the way he helped himself. Ed enrolled into the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). Heās confident that he can help anyone with the knowledge and skills obtained from becoming an NPTI graduate. Ed believes that Resistance Training with a mix of other forms of training is a great path towards achieving your goals. Working hard, challenging yourself and having fun are the 3 things that Ed expects from all of his clients. These principals are greatly reflected in his programs and workouts.

Parisi speed classes are structured to help young athletes build their athletic foundation. The focus throughout this session includes teaching proper speed and strength mechanics that will help carryover into sport.

As an affiliate of the world renowned Parisi Speed School with certified Parisi coaches, our athlete group sessions focus on improving sports performance through speed.
We start off by performing a thorough evaluation to develop a plan suitable for each athlete.
We look at:
- athletes current ability
- strengths
- Weaknesses
Our training sessions focus on the main components of sports performance:
- linear speed
- multidirectional speed
- strength and power

- age groups 7-10, 11-12, 12-15, 16+

Pre- and post-workout nutrition are arguably the most important meals of the day now, especially if you train early enough and your pre-workout is essentially your breakfast.
Without getting into specifics, both your pre and post workout meals should consist of a minimal of 25-30 g of protein and give or take the same amount in carbs, which can vary based on your goals. Leave the fats alone in these meals (I can dive into that at a later time)
Your carbs are your main energy source for intense training.
This is a very basic request that I ask so that A.) You have enough energy to perform at your best each workout and B.) For health concerns, that you donāt drop into a state of low blood sugar.
Do what you need to do to get it in, wake up earlier, prep the night before but this is a non-negotiable for me
