The Penn Panthers are proud to release our 2016 Major League Football schedule for our first inaugural outdoor football season! Throughout the Panthers six seasons of arena / indoor football, we have had so many players receive the opportunity to progress their football career to the professional level. When the Panthers were established in 2013, our staff made it clear that the primary goal was to help our players advance to the next level. The Panthers will feature many talented players this season, so keep an eye out for players signing to pro level teams while we make our run at the 2016 MLF Championship!

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that DL Alex Little (William Penn) has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! In 2014, Alex was considered one of the top JUCO prospects at his position, as 24/7 Sports ranked him among the top 25 defensive ends. Little has a great combination of skill and strength that allows him to suceed as both a pass rusher and run stopper.

The Penn Panthers were victorious in the season opener this past weekend, defeating the South Jersey Bengals by a score of 28-14! Despite the Bengals scoring on their first drive of the game, the Panthers answered back with a pick six by LB/SS Lavar Leadbetter. QB Kris Brownlee helped build a lead for the Panthers before halftime, connecting on touchdown passes with WR's Lewis Vincent and Tyriq Smith to give the Panthers at 22-8 lead. During the 4th quarter, QB Demetri Davis showcased his playmaking ability with 60 yard run bringing the offense into scoring position on the Bengals 5 yard line. On the following play, RB Rasheed Nelson scored on a yard rushing touchdown to seal the 28-14 victory for Penn Panthers in the season opener!

The Penn Panthers would like to congratulate Team Captain LB Augie Pensa for being selected for TEAM AMERICA ALL-STAR TEAM! Team America is presented by East Preps and will be a group of USA All Stars who were featured in their previous All Star Games. Team America will play a few exhibition games in 2017, 1 on US soil in January and the Second overseas in April 2017.

We would like to congratulate Panthers RB Don'Shay Speid on the birth of his baby boy - Don'Shay Speid Jr.! Although his fiancee was originally expected to give birth to their child a couple weeks ago, their son was still born healthy at 7 lbs. and 14 oz.!

The Penn Panthers would like to congratulate rookie TE Elias Ludwig for being selected for TEAM AMERICA ALL-STAR TEAM! The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that DL Dominic Townsend has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Dom will be entering his first season with the Panthers organization this year. Townsend is a Minor League Football All-Star who possesses great size, speed, and power, which have given him the ability to consistently dominate opposing offensive linemen.

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that DB Jamil Williams (Cheyney) has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Following his senior season at Cheyney University, Jamil was named All-PSAC after finishing among the league leaders in interceptions. Williams made his pro debut in 2015 with the Panthers indoor team and finished among the league leaders with 7 interceptions.

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that WR Tav Thomas has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Tav will be entering his second season with the Panthers organization this year. During a pro indoor football tryout in 2015, Thomas was able to showcase his speed and route running ability which earned him a contract with the York Capitals of the AIF.

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that WR Lewis Vincent (Delaware Valley) has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Vincent will be entering his first season with the Panthers organization this year. Lewis was an All-Conference wide receiver at Delaware Valley, where he was paired up with NFL receiver Rasheed Bailey.

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that DB Bradley Davis (Lincoln) has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Davis will be entering his fourth season with the Panthers organization this year. Brad has been a consistent force for the Panthers on defense and has been recognized for his performance on the field by being named to several league All-Star teams.

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that LB Lavar Ledbetter (Rowan) has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Ledbetter will be entering his first season with the Panthers organization this year. Lavar is a fierce defender who finished the 2016 pro indoor season with the Central Penn Capitals.

Corrente will be entering his first season with the Panthers organization this year. Recently, Corrente was selected for the MIFL All-Star Team for his second consecutive season.

The Penn Panthers are proud to announce that OL Anthony Capers (Bloomsburg) has signed for the 2016 Major League Football season! Capers will be entering his second season with the Panthers organization after joining the team towards the end of the 2015/16 ASIDFL season. Anthony was an All-City selection at Frankford High School and has the potential to develop into a next-level prospect.

Campbell will be entering his fifth season with the Panthers organization this year. Following the 2014 Spring season, Chris was named Co-Offensive MVP for the Panthers in result of his consistency and progression during the season.

Force Finish 2016 Signings with QB Panasuk, OL McGuire - OurSports Central The Wichita Force announced today that veteran QB Stephen Panasuk and OL Jacob McGuire have signed to join the Force for the 2016 season.
