Beginning on Nov. 30, 2022, e-TIDES was retired, meaning it will no longer be the online resource for electronically filing returns, making payments, and renewing licenses. These and other services will be moving to DOR's new online portal, myPATH. Read more from the PICPA about it in their legislative update.

As you may already know, the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 was signed into law earlier this year and was intended to curb inflation by reducing the deficit. The Act includes expanded or extended tax credits and additional funding from the IRS. It extended the Affordable Care Act funding through 2025 and also extended the American Rescue Plan Act temporary exception that allows taxpayers with incomes above 400 percent of the Federal Poverty Level to qualify for the premium tax credit. It also provides for opportunity through the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit, the Residential Clean Energy Credit and Clean Vehicle Credits. There are also some clauses for businesses. 👉🏼 Get to the bottom of what is causing my decreasing motivation
👉🏼Talk to a confidant about what I’m feeling, who can serve as an open ear and form of external support
👉🏼Spice up my space! Add a fake plant or family photo to remind me of why I do what I do

While these practices help me, sometimes it’s merely the little things that add up. As a business owner, it’s crucial to take care of your mental health. I urge all of my fellow business owners small and large to prioritize self-care and mental health. Our jobs require a lot of our physical and mental time, which can leave us feeling drained and burnt out.

Do something for YOU today and everyday!
