After vending and carnival barking all day in the heat, our wearyless leader went back into the print studio to turn it into a recording studio and track vocals til 1am for the . 24 hours to write, record, produce, film and upload a “summer” hit. Anyone I know need an over built super sturdy work table/DIYvacuum flatstock screen press ? 70”x33”x42” if memory serves. Extremely heavy already disassembled with parts labeled for rebuild. Had up on market place for $50-70, but need it gone and would rather it inspire someone to print or atleast be creative than trash. Carry out the door and it’s yours.

Our Shop Talk Presentation with the Ink Kitchen was a success and both fun and informational for the attendees who had some great questions. You can tell by the photo they caught me thinking...you can almost see the gears skipping after 4 days on the floor! ahaha! Thanks to the IK crew and for the opportunity to spread the love of Ink! Last minute change of plans. When master printer & flatstock guru Andy MacDougall couldn’t make it to the Atlantic City Impressions Expo & Magazine screen printing trade show this past week, our fearless Head Art-Monkey got the call from our friends at the Ink Kitchen to make sure the ink kept flowing and successfully raise several thousands of dollars for a great cause, spread the passion of poster printing and remind & inspire printers to get back in their shops cuz we all actually do love this madness! Is that a massive run in sentence? Yes. Am I completely exhausted riding a train back home through the pine barrens? Yes! Did anything that could go wrong TRY to thwart our humble mission ? Yes! Would I do it all again? Absolutely! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth or enjoyed our Shop Talk presentation,” introduction to poster printing” Hope to see youse all next year!

Devilfish Ink had the honor recently to "assist" the Fishtown District and Temple University to formally welcome new basketball coach, Adam Fisher, during the “Welcome to Fishtown” event last week. We were tasked with creating a Fishtown Basketball Icon and printing personalized Jerseys for some key "players". The night was a great success and it seemed like everyone agreed that the jerseys were a "slam dunk!" Good luck this season, Coach Fisher.... GO OWLS!

Congratulations to one of my favorite spots in our neighborhood, Cook & Shaker on turning 10 years old! It’s a gem on a quiet street in East Kensington, featuring elevated bar food, craft beers and while I find the Mixology term pretentious, no other word captures the elixirs these folks are shaking up for us! We love working with all of neighbors, but this place has a special place in our heart and stomach as it houses my sammich in Philly... Strong words I know, but talk to me after you try their filet tips with Gruyère, crispy fried onions and horseradish aioli. Heck I might not make it til Friday to treat myself and celebrate Cook & Shaker!

21st Great Annual Fishtown Spelling Bee is this Thursday at Schissler Rec. Art, stickers, postcards, posters and participation certificates to make the kids day as much fun as possible!

Last day printing in Fort Worth is gonna be a fun one. After finishing up the 350 3 screen 6 color posters, The Ink Kitchen and I chat about inspiration as an artist! ,
