We at SEAMAAC and our partners would like to invite you to the First Annual South 7th Street Asian American Unity Festival which will be held on May 25th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on South 7th Street, from Ritner to Jackson!
The South 7th Street Asian American Unity Festival aims to showcase and celebrate the rich tapestry of Asian American cultures and the diversity in Southeast Philadelphia. Our business and community members are looking forward to this event, which they have collectively organized as an opportunity to celebrate their heritage, promote Unity, and support local businesses as we kick off the summer season. The event will feature a vibrant bazaar, live music performances, cultural displays, photo exhibitions, food trucks and vendors offering a variety of Asian cuisines.
As May 25th is the last weekend for AAPI Heritage Month, we are especially excited to celebrate it with our neighbors and guests from around the City. Among the highlights of the event will be performances by renowned groups such as the Cambodian American Girls Empowering and Modero & Company Dance Troupes, along with other performances offering culturally enriching experiences for all attendees.
We look forward to welcoming you to help us promote unity within our city!

Overall, it was a great discussion about what our community needs from police, and what resources we have available, too.
Thank you to the community members who could make it out and speak their minds! Also, thank you to Philadelphia Department of Commerce and Streets Department for stopping by and showing their support!
