Today, on Glioblastoma Awareness Day, we gather to amplify the voices, experiences, and urgent needs of everyone living with glioblastoma, the most common, complex, treatment-resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer. This year more than 14,490 Americans will receive a glioblastoma diagnosis. Americans like Jim Harrick, Jr. who passed in 2023 after his 2 1/2 year battle. His father, national champion UCLA men's basketball coach, tells his story of the impact this diagnosis made on his life and the lives of those he loves.
