We wanted to highlight some clips from this year’s Musicopia String Orchestra Spring Concert! Congratulations to our students, we're so excited for next year.
Last month, our 5th and 6th grade students at The Philadelphia Charter School for the Arts and Sciences had the culminating performance for their band/orchestra instruction program. We're so proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the year!
With the school year officially over, we wanted to take this to show our appreciation for all our partners, schools, and students who made the 2023-2024 school year incredible. We're already gearing up for next school year to start!

Our Story
With an emphasis on reaching students who are underserved and cut off from the region’s rich cultural life, Musicopia is a leader in rebuilding and revitalizing school music programs. Working with a roster of nearly 100 professional ensembles and solo musicians of the highest caliber, Musicopia brings interactive music education and performance opportunities to thousands of students in Pre-K through 12th grade annually. Musicopia’s programs represent diverse musical styles and traditions from around the world including classical, jazz, Latin, African, Brazilian, Middle Eastern, opera, hip hop, rock/pop and others.
In addition to Musicopia’s in-school assembly, residency, and music training programs, the organization has established long-term, out-of-school performance and study opportunities through its Musicopia String Orchestra and Percussion Ensembles. Musicopia also runs the very successful Gift of Music instrument donation program.
