Welcome to Chubby Cattle Philadephia
Chubby Cattle was inspired by Mongolian, Tibetan, and Chinese philosophies of medicine and healing. The restaurant was founded by Haibin Yang, whose family also runs a Mongolian restaurant chain. With financial backing from New York investment firm NXTFactor, Chubby Cattle became the first restaurant in the world to provide hotpot meals using a refrigerated conveyor belt. Since its Vegas opening in 2016, Chubby Cattle has added three locations: Dallas, Denver, and now Philadelphia.
In addition to the refrigerated conveyor belt, Chubby Cattle also features a train delivery system and an iPad menu. “We are combining a historical cuisine that is thousands of years old with modern technology,” co-founder David Zhao says.
With the high-tech service, fresh ingredients, and fun tradition of hot pot, Chubby Cattle is guaranteed to provide you with an unforgettable dining experience. We are so excited to be bringing that experience to Philadelphia’s Chinatown and introduce our unique concept to the community.
