Val is so much more than just an event planner. This premier “dot connector” also serves a large-scale project manager, creative director, concept designer, and more. Using her relationships she has curated the Radio Fresca party series at El Techo, kept us captivated at Terra, and of course, founded Not Your Basic Brunch which ran for 7 years. Val’s slick attention for detail as well as her ability to make her clients’ visions come to life with her team has earned her a spot as one of Philly’s most sought after event producers/coordinators.

Kay is well known as a Photographer/Videographer in the Nightlife and Hospitality industry. Since 2012 she has been seen capturing big moments at all of the city’s best bars and nightclubs. When she’s not at her day job taking portraits of college students or doing graphic design, she is behind the scenes doing extensive social media campaigns and content creation for not just small business, but party series like Radio Fresca, BOS Philly, and more. Kay’s passion for creating eye catching promos keeps us all wondering what exciting projects she’ll be apart of next.

We met 9 years ago at Not Your Basic Brunch when Val needed a photographer for the event. The rest, as many of you know, is history 🎉 Since then we’ve executed a number of party series and one off events, bringing our signature brand of fun to everything we do. KV Consulting is our a full-service offering for people and organizations looking to throw fabulous events. We handle everything from pre-production to after-movie, providing a well organized, well executed plan to put all our clients at ease. With over 30 years of shared Marketing, Nightlife & Hospitality experience, we are two industry vets who can tackle any challenge together!
