"Isnāt it nice to have one of the worldās premier Baroque orchestras in your backyard? Their next shows are this weekend, featuring āfour flavors of concertoā ā two for recorder, one for violin, and one where most of the instruments get their turn to stand out. The latter is The Four Seasons of the Year, by Giovanni Antonio Guido, and there is indeed some argument as to whose came first, his or Vivaldiās."
Thank you, WRTI for the lovely shout out! š

"Of course, itās very gratifying to attend a concert or play or exhibition and have your expectations met, or even exceeded. But itās another thing entirely, and a thrilling one, when a performance upends your knowledge. This masterful production did just that, allowing an expanded appreciation of Vivaldi, his glorious work, and his world. Tempesta triumphans!"
