In the midst of the heartache and loss felt amongst our 7400 Roosevelt community, we have a sliver of light amongst the darkness to share.

Today, our dedicated Lindy team discovered two incredible survivors: cats who have miraculously endured almost 20 days without food or water. Thank you to all who aided in their rescue.

We are diligently working to reunite these resilient souls with their owners, reminding us of the power of hope and the unbreakable bond between pets and their families.

In this spirit, let's continue to uplift and support each other as we persevere through these very challenging times. Together, we can find strength in community and compassion.

We’re thrilled to announce our new tail-wagging pet policy: ALL dog breeds and sizes are now welcome across most Lindy communities!

From tiny teacup terriers to gentle giants, every pup has a special place to call home here. Many of our communities provide woof-worthy comforts like spacious apartments, bark parks, pet spas, plenty of treats, and pet-focused resident events.

Even 'Hopper' wants to Come Home to Lindy!

On February 9th, residents of Stone Creek Point were in for a surprise when they spotted a kangaroo hopping around the pool area! Our local heroes from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Agriculture Unit sprang into action to ensure, 'Hopper' the roo, didn't make a splashy escape!

This amazing nonprofit is transforming schoolyards in Philadelphia into dynamic play areas, giving kids the chance to make new memories and have fun. They've already completed 25% of their goal of renovating 100 schoolyards in 10 years.

🌳 Exciting News for Our Neighborhood! 🌳

Hello, dear residents and future neighbors! We have some thrilling news to share. The nearby FDR Park is undergoing a major renovation and will soon be home to North America's largest swing set, the 'Megaswing'! 🎉

This incredible addition will feature 20 swings and can accommodate up to 30 people. The playground, which includes the Megaswing, is set to open to the public on August 26th. 🗓️

But that's not all! The 2.15-acre playground will also include three climbing structures, a giant slide, and a picnic pavilion. Imagine the fun-filled days ahead, right in our backyard! 🧗‍♀️🌞

The renovation aims to make the park climate resilient and add more amenities, enhancing our community's quality of life. However, it's also sparked a healthy debate about the future use of the parkland, especially in the wake of the pandemic. We encourage everyone to join the conversation and help shape our shared green space. 🌿

FDR Park will be home to North America’s largest swing set, coined the ‘Megaswing’ The Anna C. Verna playground is scheduled to open Aug. 26.

Fiesta Schoolyards is an initiative of the Lindy Foundation that’s dedicated to transforming barren, empty schoolyards into colorful and fun playing and learning spaces for students. At no cost to the schools at all!

In July 2022, residents of Lindy Communities generously donated $118 to Fiesta Schoolyards, and the amount was doubled by the Lindy Foundation to $236. So far, Lindy residents have generously donated $4,123 to Fiesta Schoolyards, doubled by the Lindy Foundation to $8,246!

They were just granted site licenses for 8 schools this summer; 4 in North Philadelphia and 4 in West Philadelphia.
