August’s STURGEON MOON was quietly launched in the midst of all these Dragon Con announcements!

This year’s Lunacy releases have been a little different — one dazzlingly complex perfume oil marking each month’s full moon, plus a series of Duets (including a hair gloss blend) drawing upon the same theme, crafted for layering with the main Lunacy scent or wearing on their own.

These are available for a three-month span, and then… that’s it! P**f, gone forever.

✨ STURGEON MOON 2024
A month of bounty, when the fish are plentiful and the corn grows high. This is the scent of breezes passing over the Great Lakes, mingling gently with traditional lunar herbs.

Sandy shores and sweet fresh water, lichen, green algae, and whitestem pondweed, with benzoin, hay, cyclamen, moonlit musk, cucumber, blue poppy, driftwood, and agave.

The label artwork by Drew Rausch is also available as a 3”x3” vinyl sticker design!

Infuse any vehicle or environment with the otherworldly swag of a rollin’ bone-mobile! WILD HEARSES is a series of 4oz Atmosphere & Linen Sprays which dare to ask important questions about life, death, and the liminal states in between. For example: have you heard the one about the overeager hearse driver? He got fired for parking on the shoulder.

BPAL’s Atmosphere & Linen sprays are alcohol-based, packaged in a 4oz pump mist bottle. Do not spritz anywhere near heating elements or an open flame. Do not consume internally or spray directly on sensitive body parts. Please exercise common sense when spraying your hearse spray, lest the hearse come ‘round for you next!

The cadaver, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind: a chilly whoosh of dead leaves seasoned with the perfect amount of smog.

The rest of the year is Green Fairy season as far as we’re concerned! 🧚

Our classic ABSINTHE perfume oil is an intoxicating blend containing wormwood essence, light mints, cardamom, anise, hyssop, and the barest hint of lemon. Available in both 5ml and 1/32oz sizes, year round.

But it turns up as a note in numerous other fragrances, such as:

Uncompromising idealism, haunted romanticism, fatal ennui, and a heady amount of scandal and vice: red roses and pale carnation with a draught of laudanum, smears of o***m tar, a hint of absinthe, and mercury ointment.

White gardenia, ambergris bouquet, lavender fougere, orange blossom, melissa, to***co flower, coriander, ebony wood, ylang ylang, absinthe and aged whiskey.
