St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church
...the unbroken line of Christianity from the Day of Pentecost to the present time.
Christ is risen!
O Death, where is your sting?
O Hell, where is your victory?
Christ is risen, and you are overthrown.
Christ is risen, and the demons are fallen.
Christ is risen, and the angels rejoice.
Christ is risen, and life reigns.
Christ is risen, and not one dead remains in the grave.
For Christ, being risen from the dead, is become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
To Him be glory and dominion unto ages of ages. Amen.
Christ is risen!
Христос воскресе!
Today he is hung upon a tree, he who hung the earth upon the waters.
He is arrayed in a crown of thorns, he who is the King of the Angels.
He is wrapped in mocking purple, he who wraps the heaven in clouds.
He receives a blow on the face, he who freed Adam in Jordan.
He is transfixed with nails, the Bridegroom of the Church.
He is pierced by a lance, the Son of the Virgin.
We worship your Sufferings, O Christ.
Show us also Your glorious Resurrection.

What a lovely day when the parishioners come to celebrate the incarnation and birth of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ! We had a Nativity Divine Liturgy followed by coffee fellowship. Many new faces showed up as well. Glory to God!
