Our Intermediate GIS 102 Course begins October 25th. The course runs for 7 weeks and is entirely online. We will cover the geographic concepts and techniques used in spatial data analysis with both raster and vector data, as well as more advance spatial statistics, geodatabases, and layouts for mapmaking. Contact [email protected] if you are interested in taking this course.
Beginning in March 2017, Community College of Philadelphia will launch a non credit course called Basics of GIS. The course will be entirely online. This course will teach non users how to create a basic map. A fantastic way to earn continuing education credits! More registration information to follow.

This summer 2016 we will be offering GIS 101(Introduction) in an online 7 week format beginning 5/16 and ending 6/30. GIS 102 (Intermediate) will follow in an online 7 week format running from 7/12- 8/25. Seth Hackman will be teaching both classes. GIS 201 (Advanced) will run in a 7 week format beginning 5/16 and ending 6/30. Geri Miller will be teaching the Advanced class. The GIS 201 will also run in the Fall 16 to give students the ability to obtain their GIS Proficiency Certificate by completing three GIS Courses.
You receive a 1 year education version of the software to download on your home computer.
