A look at our beautiful new signage under the historic Swanger sign at our shop. Old city is our home, and we are happy to keep the history alive and well. We will be closed on the 3rd and 4th in observance of the holiday, back in the shop on the 5th. Have a happy holiday everyone!

Today is our last Monday in the shop until August 19th! Also, next week in observation of the 4th of July, we will be closed Wednesday the 3rd as well as the 4th. Please plan accordingly and come in this week, or book now for the weekend of the 5th!

Getting a little too hot to keep that beard? Come in and get a clean shave. Here is Matteo performing our full service face shave. We start with our in house made pre-shave oil, followed by a hot towel and classic hot lather. Finish with our finest after shave products. Our clients say it is the most relaxing part of their week.

We would like everyone to give a warm welcome to Matteo, our newest barber to join the Blokes family! From West Chester, PA, Matteo started cutting hair at 14. He has experience working with people of all hair types, having worked in both the salon and barber industry. Matteo was ready to level up his passion for barbering and make a new start in Philly; we are so happy he is doing it with us at Blokes! He has a wide range of musical, historic, and cultural knowledge, which he will happily discuss with anyone in his chair!

Welcome to the new Blokes Barbershop & Gentlemen’s Emporium. Located just down the street from our old location, at 116 North Third Street. It was a big move, but we are open and taking clients! We would love for everyone to stop in and see our beautiful new space. Thank you to everyone for your support through this transition. We can’t wait to see you all here.

Heads up everyone: our last day here at 151 is TOMORROW, February 17th. We will be here until 5pm, and there are a few limited appointments open. We will be closed Sunday the 18th, through Noon on Wednesday the 21st, when we will reopen at our new location, 116 N Third Street. We look forward to seeing everyone in our new location starting next week!
