As the ever-increasing public attention swells around ChatGPT and other forms of AI, our new summer exhibition, Data Nation: Democracy in the Age of AI, will take a close look at AI and consider how rapid advances in technology impact and disrupt democratic norms. Visitors will experience visually stunning and immersive installations, topical interactives, and provocative artworks to consider the forces at play in our everyday technology. The font was generated by an AIFont system using a data-set of 200,000 different fonts and is an example of how AI distills and creates data into art.
Data Nation opens June 2 and comes together through a collaboration of artists, academics, and technologists with design partners Landau Design and the Center for Immersive Media at University of the Arts.
