Fun fact — they graduated from the Seed to Supper program hosted at Share's Nice Roots Farm, utilizing the tools and knowledge they learned during the program and applying it to their food security! 🌱

Showing so much love to one of our dedicated Senior Food Box Program Volunteers Jasmine Howard 🤗 She usually volunteers on weekends with The Junior League of Philadelphia, Inc. but always shows up when we need additional help - like a few Fridays ago when it was our BUSIEST Home Delivery day in which our volunteers helped load cars driven by DoorDash Impact drivers and got a record number of 990 food boxes out to the community 🤩🤩 Thank you, Jasmine for your ongoing support and spending time to help us fight for food justice. Volunteer Appreciation Week may be coming to a close but our deepest gratitude for amazing volunteers like Jasmine continues every day of the year 💚💫

Some of our wonderful Philly pantry partners Brothers of Strawberry Mansion, Hickman Temple, and New Testament Church of God picked up some equipment from the warehouse today! This is all thanks to a grant Share Food Program got from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for equipment to help our pantries distribute food safely and more efficiently 🥕🫐🥦❤️#foodpantry #foodsecurity
"In order to move food more efficiently in Montgomery County, we needed the space to do that," said Carla Clanagan, the Montgomery County program director for the Share Food Program." We are so incredibly grateful to Congresswoman Madeleine Dean for pushing forward the funding needed to pay for safety upgrades to our new Montgomery County Warehouse which will further help us serve Partner Pantries across the county more efficiently.

Had a great time at this year’s Party with a Purpose 🎉💚💫 Thanks to Senator Vincent Hughes and Sheryl Lee Ralph for hosting. And big thanks to Sharifa Jackson of 6abc Action News 6ABC / WPVI-TV for helping us get the word out! We were so heartened to share our hunger-relief and food justice work with an inspiring community of people. All of the generous food donations we received are making it back out to families this week!!
Partner Spotlight: SEAMAAC
Here at Share Food Program we work with over 100 pantries across the region to help get nutritious food into the hands of those who need it most.
Our amazing partner SEAMAAC, Inc. has been a Share Partner Pantry since early on in the pandemic. SEAMAAC has been a resource hub for immigrants coming from South East Asia and marginalized communities since 1984 (almost 40 years!)
SEAMAAC offers educational programming, health & social services, and #foodjustice services.
We are unbelievably grateful for our dedicated partners like SEAMAAC 💚
