Trash and recycling update:
Crews will be collecting materials from routes regularly scheduled on Thursdays on Friday, January 19 as per the holiday schedule.
Due to the forecast of snow, Sanitation crews and equipment will be diverted to snow operations beginning Saturday, January 20. Friday’s collections which were scheduled to be picked up Saturday due to the MLK holiday are suspended. Residents who normally have Friday’s collections must hold their materials until the next Friday, January 26 as crews will not be able to pick up materials while they are working on snow operations.
As an alternative, residents may drop off their materials at the City’s Sanitation Convenience Centers which are open for regular hours, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. We thank residents for their patience and cooperation as crews navigate this winter weather event https://ow.ly/mbf050QsnFj.
Due to the inclement weather trash and recycling collections are slightly behind. Please continue to set your materials out as per the holiday schedule. Crews are working quickly as possible to access materials. We thank residents for their patience as crews work to navigate through the inclement weather.
Trash and recycling collections remain on a holiday schedule. Residents should continue to set materials out one day later than normal for pick up. Residents with rear driveway collections may experience delays as crews try to navigate through inaccessible driveways that may be iced over. Please leave materials out for pick up. We thank residents for their patience and cooperation as we continue to weather the storm.
