BATHROOM GOALS
One of our most dramatic before and afters was inspired by a large arabesque marble tile (swipe thru for the shocking before photos).
It can be hard to look past a home’s dated interiors and imagine what’s possible. What started as a cramped, dark space now feels open and effortless. It starts with planning, visits to trusted showrooms, drawings, specifying the plumbing and tile, detailing everything, and then managing the project through construction and final installation.
WALLPAPER WEDNESDAY
Don’t adjust your set. Yep, that’s wallpaper. It really makes this Guest Bathroom. Our motto is “Live bold, be unique.” When ordinary won’t do, has amazing murals, patterns and textures.
OFFICE WORK
We just updated our materials library in the office. It’s so easy now to find everything we need. Good timing. Today we are putting together a palette of wood, tile, stone, metals and textiles for a whole home remodel including 3.5 baths and a new kitchen.
CLOSET GOALS
really came through on this wardrobe wall for our clients. It really makes the space. The doors have a custom walnut pull that runs the full length of the door. We ❤️ helping our clients imagine the possibilities.
PINBOARD MONDAY
New presentation up on the boards.
Good morning, don’t mind if I do ☕️
Favorite chair, surrounded by art, great view. What else is there?
What moment will we help you create? What feeling are you trying to capture? How good would it feel to have it all done? Can you picture it? Okay, pencils down. Tell us about it.
“I’ll take the stairs”
Here is some stair inspiration from our project. A combination of a flat weave runner, Rubio Monocoat stair finish, and a custom Chippendale patterned steel railing.
Interior design is about pulling the perfect elements together to express the mood and explore your style. It’s a backdrop where all the details are thought of. Our process involves a deep dive into your functional and aesthetic needs. It’s all about listening, making connections, stepping into your shoes, and then putting together timeless interiors that will serve you well into the future.

Spectacular views deserve a spectacular perch
A family heirloom gets a style update with a Peruvian inspired print from .fabrics and a new leather wrapped table from . We designed this perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine while watching the sun go down.

Show your guests you care. Give them a taste of luxury. The perfectly curated space. Interesting finishes. Handmade tiles. Plush towels, Deep basins. Great light.
Just because it’s a windowless bathroom in a Lower Level doesn’t mean it’s any less important. We combined a cramped bathroom and a closet to create a generous en-suite bathroom. We got inspired by the variation in the wall tile from . Dreamy.
W E E K E N D
Looking forward to the weekend. So much going on.
FRIDAY: open studio tours tonight from 6-9pm
SATURDAY: brunch with friends at home & it’s earth day (we’ll be working in the garden)
SUNDAY: kickboxing, another brunch, and then celebrating the day of the book and the rose (it’s national book day. In Spain, couplers give each other a book and/or a rose).
What are you up to this weekend?

Uncommon pleasures for un-average people.
Mix it up. Go ahead, make it all about you. It’s your 3rd Act? I think it’s your best act. Retiring and downsizing is the perfect opportunity for reinvention. Take that amazing rug, move it to a new room, expose yourself to classic and cutting edge furniture, dare to fall in love, take a few risks (you can do it!), trust us to put together the perfect mix. Interior design design should be exciting.

(Door opens) What is the first thing your guests will see?
This foyer in our client’s condo was originally an open, bland space. We envisioned it as a custom library for their leather bound volumes, space for sculpture & art, and the perfect nook for the table they brought with them from California. Now it makes the right first impression.
It’s important to dream big. After all, we are the interpreters of our client’s dreams. We specialize in creating uncommon interiors for un-average people.
H A R D W A R E
Think of all the things you touch everyday… now make it beautiful.
There are 3 things you should consider when choosing entry door hardware, after all, you are going to be interacting with it thousands of times in the coming years.
First, consider the style: mortise lock? Standard bore? Multipoint? Smart lock? Lever or k**b? How does it feel in the hand?
Next, consider the finish. Bronze? Brass? Nickel? Custom finish? Is the plating substantial? Is it a living finish that will change over time? Do you want a split finish (the other side of this door is polished nickel).
Finally, consider quality. Buy the best you can afford. A quality piece will be heavier cast, more durable, and have a wider variety of finishes and custom features.
Happy Easter 🐣
Tiny details make the design
At the end of the day, your home is the universe you go back to because it makes you feel the best.
Make an entrance
Set the vibe at the door. Let them know who you are. Even a small vestibule can have its moment.
Friday is here. Time to relax.
What’s your way to unwind? What’s your Zen happy place? Or maybe the weekend is your chance to gather, celebrate, and raise a little ruckus. It’s all good.
Hello Spring 🐣
Outdoor spaces in the works. We are embracing color, warmer tones, and ocean vibes. On our radar right now is the Cat’s Cradle dining chair and lounge chair from . Let’s get outside!
Relax and soak up the last rays of sun.
We’re enjoying the days getting longer. Here’s to dreaming of plans for Spring and Summer.
It was like a door into Narnia (if Narnia was filled with furniture icons of the 20th century). We stumbled upon this exhibit at Christie’s on 6th on our way walking to the MoMA in NYC.
Laundry Room goals at our project.
Bright and open with the excitement of travel to exotic locations. Just the fantasy you need while folding your towels or searching for that missing sock.
Relax & chill
Good morning gorgeous. Who wouldn’t look good with warm woods, marble, and magma tile made from cut lava rock.
City living + comfort
Where else could you get 15’ ceilings and 10’ windows? We were tasked with updating the mid century style mahogany built-in bookcases to showcase the owners large collection of books and blue and white dinnerware. The upper doors were taken off, the insides of the cabinets painted Railings, and picture lights from
