Ridiculous!

Apparently Intuit is under fire for false marketing and advertising practices for its tax software, Turbo Tax! They knowingly deceived low-income Americans into paying for filing their taxes when they actually qualified to file for free.

What happened? They falsely advertised that you could file your taxes with them for free, but after providing all of your information and when checking out, they then charged customers. For this, they have settled for $141 million for 4.4 users who filed between 2016 to 2018

In today’s business and tech news, apparently and have profited tremendously in these last 3 months. Since the pandemic, they have been, but these last 3 months, Uber has made more than twofold of what they made last year (over $6 billion)

Lyft on the other hand is motivating drivers to drive more by offering incentives due to way less earnings forecasted. Both Uber and Lyft stock shares did fall though…Uber fell 11% while Lyft fell 30%!

Moreover, it seems that Uber can thank most of their profits to Uber Eats when restaurants began to open more and allowed drivers to deliver food and transport passengers.

Surprisingly, these things that you may look over could be not only Cayuga you points, but could make you look risky to potential lenders. If not, they must be corrected by the credit bureaus by either calling or sending in a letter making them aware of the mistakes!

I mean, are we really surprised? anticipates that will lose another 2 million subscribers by the end of Spring!! Between the higher fees and account sharing issue, a lot of subscribers have decided to opt out of their subscription with Netflix for lower cost streaming services. Not only did they lost subscribers, but their stock fell 17% (40% all in all this year). I think it’s time for Netflix to reconsider else they could become obsolete with all of this competition out here! Thoughts?

Not surprised 🤔

As we always say, credit cards ARE the best way to build your credit!

So beginning in July, the big 3 credit bureaus (Transunion, Experian, and Equifax) intends on removing medical collection accounts that have been PAID to the original creditors. While new unpaid medical collections won’t be added to your credit report for a whole year after being sent to collections.

By next year, they intend on removing any unpaid medical collections that are under $500! The CFPB estimates $88 billion in medical debt on 43 million credit reports. The 3 credit bureaus estimates 200 million credit report - that’s about 21% of consumers.

Medical collections can stop or decrease your chances of being able to buy or even rent a home, as well as getting approved for a loan or credit card.
