Doobies, the official clubhouse for all things Bowie, will be hosting a variety of events for this year, in addition to having Round Guys Brewing Company Bowie beers both on draft (Never Get Old Session IPA) & in cans (Loving The Alien Saison & Young Americans Cranberry Sour). Special Bowie cocktails will be available and a portion of the sales will benefit Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

We sure do & to show our love & in honor of Pride month, Doobies will be offering stand alone Pride cans (while they last) or as one of our shot & beer specials for the ENTIRE month as our way to support PRIDE.

A portion of the sale will benefit , an LGBTQ organization which "creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults within a safe and supportive community and promotes the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in society".

Who do we know that has a food truck or does pop ups without being inside a business? Also, any suggestions as to who to contact regarding this?

Starting the beginning of June, we will be carrying the Pride can! Not only does Montucky donate 8% to local LGBTQ+ charities, Doobies will select a local charity and donate to them as well. We're hoping to make it one of our shot/beer specials, so looking for an LGBTQ+ liquor to pair it with. Any suggestion, please feel free to leave a comment! 🌈🌈🌈

Thanks to all who came out over the weekend! It was great seeing so many folks we haven't seen in a while!

Congrats to our friend Nancy Barile on her book event/signing at the Unitarian Church, to Katherine Morucci on moving back to Philly and starting the next chapter of her life, to Dan Dokuchit on his upcoming move to NC and to all the wonderful people who make Doobies Doobies!

If you weren't for you all, we wouldn't be here. I am humbled. I can't tell you how happy it makes me feel to hear you all say how happy you are to be back. We're happy too! 💖😊

We're celebrating this week, it's 4/20 and Earth Day! We'll have a draft and can special & tomorrow only, both priced at $4.20!

Our first is the Blue Point Legalize Wheat (can), a 7% Amer Wheat Ale w/Sour Diesel terpenes for (according to the brewery) a sticky, dank & totally bodacious experience.

The second is Sweetwater G13, a 6% IPA w/ the dankest of hips, terpenes & help that mimic the G13 strain of cannabis.

They will both continue with us until Friday to celebrate Earth Day.

Today's gonna be like this. Caipirinha (pronounced Kai-pa-reenya) with Leblond Cachaça (pronounced Ca-sha-sa).

Cachaça is a distilled spirit made from fermented sugarcane juice from Brazil, with grassy undertones.

The Caipirinha has just 3 ingredients- Cachaça, sugar & muddled limes. Stop by and try one!

Yep, that's right! WE'RE BACK! Doobies is now open inside once again. We've made a few changes but we think you'll love what we did. New shot & beer specials, new liquor & wine list and some great craft beers in bottles, cans & on draft! We even got in a !
The kitchen will be closed for the time being, until we can get it sorted, but feel free to bring something with you or order pick up/delivery from somewhere! Open Wed through Sun.

We're really sorry, Doobies is going to be closed today Wed 3/30 but we'll be back on Thursday, same Bat time, same Bat station...

Our current hours for the time being are:

Wed/Thurs 4pm-11pm (or later)
Fri/Sat 4pm-midnight (or later)
Sun 4pm-9pm (maybe later)

It's true. Friday at 4pm, Doobies Bar is re-opening our doors to the wonderful guests we've missed for the last 2 years. Not completely sure what our hours will be, but if you are there, we are staying open (at least until 2). See you then?
