Meeting at Downtown Phoenix tonight from 5-6pm in Health North 110 ๐
Happy Thursday, everyone! Our second round of meetings of the semester are next week! We will be learning about and discussing eating disorders.
The meetings will be in Downtown Phoenix on Monday (9/25) @ 5pm in Health North 110 or in Tempe on Wednesday (9/27) @ 5pm in BA L1-21.
Just a heads up. Our guest speaker, Megan Kniskern, is only available to speak during the Monday Phoenix meeting. She is a registered dietitian and an eating disorder specialist so if you wish to see her and you're located in Tempe we highly recommend using the shuttles. They're free, depart every hour and it's totally worth the journey!
The Wednesday meeting will still cover the topic of eating disorders and will be led by SNC officers. We will be playing games at both meetings towards the big prize at the end of the semester!
Final Reminders:
-Don't forget that you must attend 2 meetings (not in the same week) to get a free shirt and become an official member.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give two quick updates.

Secondly, the first Research Colloquium is September 27th from 2-3pm on the Downtown Campus. Check out the flyer below!
Hello everyone! We were all enthused by your enthusiasm towards our first volunteer event. Unfortunately, St. Vincent De Paul had to cancel for Saturday because their representative couldn't attend. However, we will have an alternative September event ASAP so keep being wonderful and we will keep you posted!
Get ready for our first volunteer event!
We will be volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul's Urban Farm (1075 W. Jackson St. Phoenix, Az 85007) next Saturday, September 9th from 8am-11:30am
This is a great opportunity to get to know one another and start building those volunteer hours and connections.
If you plan on attending, please RSVP on OrgSync ASAP (There are only 20 spots available). Please make sure to come if you RSVP! If you know you can't or had something come up and you already RSVP's, please remove you name.
Can't wait to see you all there!!

One last reminder that our meeting in Tempe is tomorrow at BA L1-21! See you there!
And just like that, the semester is off to a terrific start. Thank you to everyone that showed up to our first meeting in Downtown Phoenix! We had a wonderful turn out!
We met this year's officers, enjoyed a presentation from the lovely Tracy Grgich and played to test our food vocabulary. ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ค๐
If you were unable to make this meeting, have no fear. We are having another meeting this Wednesday from 5-6pm on the Tempe Campus (BA L-21). All updates and events are also located on OrgSync for member access.
