Mortgage rates are at their lowest levels since March!! If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing or refinancing, now is a great time to look at options. Taking out equity either through a cash-out refinance or heloc is making sense for a lot of people with high interest debt right now. Reach out any time, I’d love to help! It was an honor to have been able to help this family close on their cash-out refinance this week!! This was a unique situation that definitely took some creativity.
In the end, we were able to help them get a brand new roof on their home and pay off all of their outstanding debt, ultimately getting them in a much better financial position and upgrading their home at the same time.
We were also able to get them a rate in the low 6’s!! If you’re a homeowner with a low rate, but have accumulated high interest debt over the last couple years, you might be surprised on how much you can save yourself even in the current mortgage rate environment. It’s worth exploring.

I met these clients over a couple years ago and there were multiple factors on why we needed to wait to be able to qualify them to purchase a home. 2023 has been a challenge in the real estate industry, there’s no doubt. As we look ahead to 2024, the real estate market is poised to heat up.
What does this mean? If you’re a buyer and have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for the right time - now is that time. Interest rates are trending downward and are at their lowest levels since the spring. With rates projected to continue to improve in the coming months, the number of buyers entering the market will only increase.
Get into the home now and refinance after you purchase. As a buyer, you don’t want to be in a position like so many were during the pandemic with having to enter into bidding wars and paying over ask price for a home.
