I started in this industry in 2016 with Caliber Home Loans after an 8 year stint in retail banking. After quickly realizing this was what I wanted to do in finance, I went all in.

I joined .loans at Nova Home Loans in 2018. I would not be where I am today in this industry without making that move, and will always be extremely grateful he took me under his wing. We moved to CrossCountry Mortgage in 2021 after working through the COVID housing madness and refi boom.

At the end of 2023 I joined Forward Loans as a mortgage broker after working in retail all years prior. The transition has been a great learning experience, as well as challenging, as every day is in this industry. No day is the same, which is what I enjoy!

We utilized a 2/1 temporary buy-down and were able to secure them a first-year interest rate in the 3’s!! This is a huge savings in the current rate environment during the first two years of the loan.

Mortgage rates are at their lowest levels since March!! If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing or refinancing, now is a great time to look at options. Taking out equity either through a cash-out refinance or heloc is making sense for a lot of people with high interest debt right now. Reach out any time, I’d love to help! It was an honor to have been able to help this family close on their cash-out refinance this week!! This was a unique situation that definitely took some creativity.

In the end, we were able to help them get a brand new roof on their home and pay off all of their outstanding debt, ultimately getting them in a much better financial position and upgrading their home at the same time.

We were also able to get them a rate in the low 6’s!! If you’re a homeowner with a low rate, but have accumulated high interest debt over the last couple years, you might be surprised on how much you can save yourself even in the current mortgage rate environment. It’s worth exploring.

Each person and family’s situation is different, and hanging onto that 3% mortgage rate might not be worth it when you have credit cards in the 20%+ range. I’d love to help review your situation to see if a cash out refinance makes sense!

2023 has been a challenge in the real estate industry, there’s no doubt. As we look ahead to 2024, the real estate market is poised to heat up.

What does this mean? If you’re a buyer and have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for the right time - now is that time. Interest rates are trending downward and are at their lowest levels since the spring. With rates projected to continue to improve in the coming months, the number of buyers entering the market will only increase.

Get into the home now and refinance after you purchase. As a buyer, you don’t want to be in a position like so many were during the pandemic with having to enter into bidding wars and paying over ask price for a home.
