Serving South Phoenix since ‘57 🍕🧡💙 Gino’s Pizza opened on Central Avenue south of Southern Avenue in 1956 and has been a fixture in South Phoenix ever since.
I had the pleasure of visiting with Jack Helmkay, the current owner of Gino’s Pizza the other day. I thought that I was going to get a pizza and a soda. What I got was GREAT pizza, cold soda and a history lesson.
