Team Highlight: ⭐️Billing and Credentialing Manager ⭐️

Mrs. Alex is an Arizona newbie from Orange County, California. Alex obtained her bachelor's degree in Health Science-Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from California State University, Fullerton. She has been in the Optometry field for 20 years, with experience in Practice Administration, and combined 15 years of billing experience. Her goal is to provide strategic leadership and direction of the overall operations of the back-end revenue cycle for the practice. She hopes to provide financial direction and coordination of the overall functions of the billing team. A step forward for our patients to be able to find security in CVO’s billing practices.
 
Her hobbies include going to NFL Football games with her husband, traveling and watching her kids play sports on the weekends.  

We are excited to have Mrs. Alex on the team and look forward to improved financial patient experiences under her direction!

💎Esmeralda Román💎 on the left, our brilliant Quality Assurance team member who was worn many hats at Clear Vision. Her passion for everything she does along with her attention to the most granular details fill the room with an inspirational aura.

💎Jeannette Mendez💎 on the right, wears rose colored glasses when driving the organization. She is our Chief Executive Officer and quite frankly, leads with heart. She is the mother goose, directing the many moving parts of CVO in order to strengthen the compassionate care provided to the most underserved.

We are a force to be reckon with having such beautiful hearts on our team.

💎Nancy Davila💎is our friendly Billing Lead. Her biggest accomplishment was being certified as a biller. She balances the working mom life by always making sure her kids feel loved and cared for. A woman she is inspired by is a member of our staff, Liz Olmedo. She is inspired by Liz’s ability to be an amazing working mom as well.

Nancy loves family activities such as going to the park and bouncing at the trampoline park. She enjoys cooking for her loved ones. She cooks enchiladas, steaks, and lasagna. She wishes that patients can feel safe and comfortable at CVO as they get treated for their eyes. She feels confident as a woman because she is smart and uses her knowledge to guide others and help them succeed. She hopes that her kids will look up to her and say “Wow my mom is amazing”. Overall, Ms. Davila is an amazing woman, mom, and part of our staff!

💎💎Mary Ann Martinez💎💎 is our comical and bright Travel Technician. One of her greatest achievements was being the first woman in her family to graduate High School. She has worked hard for everything she has earned and is grateful for even the small things in life.

One obstacle she has faced was being quiet and reserved. She learned to slowly come out of her shell and talk to different people. She is the staff comedian and loves making people smile and laugh. She wants patients at CVO to feel like they aren't just “another patient”, and she wants them to know we care about how they feel.

She is passionate about spending time with her family and caring for people. She enjoys traveling the world and exploring new places.

She enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her friends, and eating new foods. She is an avid chocolate lover and will eat any dessert that has it! She wants her parents to be proud of her and know that they raised a strong woman who is hard working and compassionate.

💎Alyssa Mansuetti💎is our caring Front Office Coordinator. One of her biggest achievements was finishing school, despite the many obstacles in her way. She has mastered several positions in her four years at CVO. She wants every patient to feel welcomed and confident in knowing they are receiving the best care.

She is inspired by her parents, who had challenges that they conquered. She loves spending time with her family and traveling to different places. She feels confident in knowing that she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. She lives her life everyday knowing that her family is proud of her. Mrs. Mansuetti is a hardworking, humble, strong woman!

💎Sharon Jensen💎 is an outstanding Appeals and Denials Specialist. She is a jack of all trades and always kindly lends a helping hand to everyone on the team. She is compassionate and determined with an admirable work ethic She wishes for patients at CVO to know that they are getting the best care possible.

Her biggest achievement was graduating college and having 4 children. She had her first child at a young age and she is proud to be raising happy children well. She enjoys creating art and going to water parks with her kids. She wants to make her kids proud and know how hard she has worked for them.

Ms. Jensen is an amazing mother and a strong woman! We are happy to have such an gem on our team!

She enjoys cooking, meeting new people, and makeup artistry. She feels happy to wake up everyday and is always grateful that God has gives her another day full of life and joy. She loves exploring new cultures and talking to people from all walks of life. She feels confident knowing she has a blessed life, job, and family. She is proud of her fashion style and good heart. She does not hesitate to stand up for what's right. Jatziry is a kind, devoted woman who puts a smile on everyone's face. Thank you for being awesome, Jaritzy!

Her biggest achievement was getting a High School diploma as well as graduating college. An obstacle she faced was getting back into school to obtain a career. She is passionate about her children and her spiritual beliefs because they help guide her through her life. Her mom is her biggest influence because she helped Aurelia learn that things aren’t always easy but you must find a way. She and her siblings were not the easiest bunch to handle, but her mother raised them to be successful. Learning about cars and listening to music makes her happy . She rolls down her windows and drives with the beats blasting! She would like her kids to look up to her and aim higher than her. She feels good knowing that her family and loved ones are safe and thriving. Aurelia is one of the most amazing women and definitely one of the most caring people out there:)

💎Roxxane Lopez💎is one of our amazing medical assistants here at CVO. She is friendly, outgoing, and hardworking. Roxxane strives to create a positive and happy environment for everyone. Her biggest achievement and obstacle in life was raising her child as a single mother. Hearing her daughter’s laugh brings joy to her heart. Growing as a person and having a good attitude are some of the many things she is passionate about.

She enjoys listening to country music or Bad Bunny, binge watching netflix series’ such as Selena, 🎤 and spending time with her now sixteen year old daughter. She looks up to her Grandmother. Her grandmother taught her many valuable lessons and gave her some of the advice that has helped her succeed and persevere.

😃 Putting a smile on peoples faces and making them happy gives her confidence. She makes sure every CVO patient walks out feeling like they had a positive and enjoyable experience. As she continues to strive at CVO she hopes that her daughter will look up to her not only as a mom but as a best friend.

💎Josefa Yhuit💎is our kind, resourceful, and amazing Patient Care Counselor. Her biggest achievement is having her kids who have pushed her to go further in life. Josefa has sacrificed so much by coming to Arizona all the way from California. She is a recent Arizona transplant. Josefa is admittedly a little lonely without her kids, but knows that she always has a family and a healthy space at CVO. She is passionate about helping people, but specifically the elderly who have a special place in her heart.

She enjoys spending time outside and particularly playing softball. Being around strong, kind people makes her confident. Josefa looks up to her mother who has helped her succeed and pushed her hard. Josefa wishes to inspire her kids to go beyond her and accomplish their dreams. Josefa is such a caring mother and she facetimes her children every night while they are away. She can’t wait for her kids to come down to Arizona and enjoy the beautiful sunsets with her!

💎Janet (JJ) Rochel💎is an outgoing and creative medical assistant here at CVO. Her goal at CVO is to make patients feel comfortable asking questions. She wants patients to know that they are heard and that we will take care of them.

🏆Her greatest achievement was being the first person in her family to graduate college. 👩‍🎓 One of the hardest obstacles she’s had to face was being hispanic in blended communities because of preconceived biases or thoughts about Latino people. She overcame this by accepting that she can't change what people think about her and that she can only change the way she thinks about herself.

💡Her mom was her greatest influence because she immigrated to USA where she had no family. She has inspired JJ to always keep going and go as far as you can in life. JJ has raised her now six year old daughter on her own. JJ wants to make her daughter proud because she has come so far facing many single parent challenges in being a mom who works full time. JJ wants womens voices to be heard, something she is passionate in hopes that change will continue to come with time

JJ helps out in our community by making lunchboxes for the less fortunate. She loves reading, writing, and creating art. 🎨

JJ has overcome racial prejudice and the struggles of single motherhood. She is always moving forward and furthering her education. What a strong woman! We are proud to have you on the CVO and the waves you will continue to make! 💪🏼💪🏼

💎Phyllis Capron💎is our Insurance Verification Specialist. She is one of the most genuine, kind, and giving people you will ever meet. A double celebration as today is also her birthday! 🎉🎂🎉

Phyllis has overcome many challenges in her life. She was declared deaf at a young age, but with a miracle her hearing was restored. Her greatest achievement has been raising her daughter who is now 18. She was a single mom who devoted time to her daughter even when she had to work.

Her mom is her biggest role model because she raised her and her two other siblings alone. She taught Phyllis her morals and guided her through life. Phyllis’ mother says inspired her to always have a positive attitude while always working hard.

Phyllis wants patients to feel happy and welcome when they come to CVO. When Phyllis is not on the clock she enjoys doing crafts, hiking, and camping. She is passionate about caring for animals. 🐾

Phyllis is a proud member of her church, and a caring member of our community. She feels confident when people use words of encouragement and acknowledge her efforts. She wishes to inspire and make her daughter and mother proud.

Women of highlight! on International Women’s Month, we’d like to highlight another one of our team members:

💎Michele Oliveira, COA💎 is an amazing Certified Technician from The Bronx who lights up a room with her presence. Her Puerto Rican roots help define who she is. As soon as you are near her, you can feel the powerful radiations of her positivity and confidence. She is a hardworking individual who always gives her all. Even if she fails, she knows that she tried her best.

She loves going to amusement parks and getting on roller coasters to face her fears. Once she challenges her mind to get on the crazy coaster she goes along for the ride. Her biggest achievement in life has been raising her two children to be productive and giving members of society. Giving them a good education was important to her. Her daughter is now a doctor and her son is an engineer. 👩🏻‍⚕️👷🏼‍♂️

She always inspired her kids by advising them they should find what they love and go for it. She loves giving back to society whether that’s donating clothes to the less fortunate or giving books to her local libraries.

She is passionate about humanity and how we can help each other. She strives to make sure every patient at Clear Vision is well taken care of and most of all that they feel like they can experience a comfortable, safe, social environment where everyone knows each other.

She believes that confidence comes from the people around you and that their positivity affects your aura. She looks up to her grandmother who gave her the strength and foundational skills to work hard. Although she was taught that cultural expectations were for her to be married and strong, she broke barriers to become independent. Ms. Oliveira is a beautiful, smart, powerful example of what a woman should be!

⭐️⭐️⭐️On international women’s month, we’d like to highlight one of our very own:

Miss Theresa Vargas, Clinic Supervisor at our Peoria location, is an Arizona transplant from California who has fallen in love with the Arizona sky, sunsets being her favorite. Theresa obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration from Capella University and Ophthalmic Technician certification from Bryman College. Theresa's experience in patient care, vendor relations, and community outreach add value to our practice. As clinic supervisor, she aims to have patients come in feeling welcome, cared for, and safe. She shares a passion for preventative and therapeutic care as well as restoration of patient's vision.

Her hobbies include sight-seeing, volunteering in her local church and expressing her creativity through various art media.

Her mark to the 🌎 is her creative nature, her ability to place God in all pathways she chooses, and her entrepreneurial spirit and heart that is always aimed at helping others. Outside of ophthalmology, she helps women feel their best through many beautification efforts that are dear to her heart. She is a force,inspiring to those around her, proven not only in her ability to place our patients at ease, but in her launch in helping people with beauty efforts which rose from a love for her grandmother.
