We are so fortunate to have the support we do in Arizona. Thank you to Mel Nichols and Kilauea Crushers for donating the much-needed decomposed granite to clean up the storm's mess. A huge thank you to the guys at Arizona Archery Club for donating their time to help move the material to make the range welcoming for the archers of the AAE Arizona Cup! The Arizona Cup Team is grateful and can't wait to get this show on the road! 🏹🎯 Only 36 hours to go!
It was a rough start to the day with the fields and parking lots flooded, all the chalk lines gone, and it was breezy and cold, but mother nature came through for us. The clouds broke up, the sun started shining and the ground started drying.🌞 We're ready for the start of Stage 3 of the Olympic Trials Qualifications tomorrow morning. 🏹

Did you know AZ Cup preparations take four full weekends to accomplish, and they're facilitated by 100% volunteer power? 😲 The state association relies on AZ clubs to make the magic happen, and we appreciate each and every one of them who comes out to help. Thank you, Arizona Archery Club, Desert Sky Archers, Anchor Point Archery, Superstition Archers, and Gilbert Archery Club, for showing up these past few weekends. We couldn't do it without you!!! 🥰 This weekend, the Two Old Men and a Chalker hit the ground running to prepare the fields and parking lots for the big event! Gotta have a little fun in the process! 🤣

Missing the beauty of the fields, the weather, and the amazing energy of the archers from this year's AZ Cup.
#2023
The 2023 AAE Arizona Cup is in the books, and this year did not disappoint. We welcomed 791 archers to the fields over the 3 days of scheduled competition, and it took a grueling schedule to make it happen. Those in attendance fought hard to shoot their personal bests, gain insight from their experience, fight for the podium finishes, and overcome adversity. Kudos to each and every one of you that worked hard, prepared, and conquered for this event. Congratulations to those that came out on top, the silent warriors and trials finishers, and all the archers that walked away, gaining a new perspective and goals for the future! ☀️
To the parents, coaches, and spectators - 👏👏👏
You are the spirit of the sport, and we commend you for your selfless commitment to your athletes. Thank you for the sacrifices and unconditional support you offer to lift them up and celebrate their individual victories.
We are incredibly grateful to our phenomenal sponsor, Arizona Archery Enterprises, Inc (AAE), for supporting this annual tradition. 🧡
Without their continued support, this event would not be possible.
We want to acknowledge the wonderful staff and volunteers that gave their all - blood, sweat, and tears - to not only see this tournament come to fruition but execute the needs of the event and its participants with such skill and grace. We enjoyed working with each of you, and thank you for the countless hours and energy you dedicated to the success of this tournament.
On behalf of the Tournament Chair (Kristy DW) and Tournament Director (Bud Lord ), we thank the attendees for your support, participation, and all of the sacrifices you made to be here in Arizona with us this past week. 🏹🎯
Thank you to USA Archery for capturing some of the highlights here of one of our best years to date.
