The purpose of this event is to put our heads and hearts together to talk, pray and see what God has in store for us. As a community of believers, we need everyone's input and thoughts as we gather to discuss the vision and future of Life Discovery and its vital ministries. We sense there are great things ahead and important work yet to be done, so we're excited to meet. Come for the whole gathering or drop in for part of it. Snacks and drinks will be provided. What grief is ...
A hole ripped through the very fabric of your being.
The hole eventually heals along the jagged edges that remain.
It may even shrink in size.
But that hole will always be there.
A piece of you always missing.
For where there is deep grief, there was such great love.
Don’t be ashamed of your grief.
Don’t judge it. Don’t suppress it. Don’t rush it.
Rather acknowledge it.
Lean into it. Listen to it. Feel it.
Sit with the pain. And remember all the love.

Yesterday, Tuesday 6/18/24 a sad time for the Walth family, friends, friends of friends and the community at large, here. For Benjamin Walth, it was beautiful time to meet his Holy Father and Glorious Savior 🛐 ☮️ ✝️.
Please pray 🤲, for all of his family and his loved ones in this time of grief on earth, as Benjamin is now home, At Peace in Heaven in His Lord‘s loving arms.😓
He will be missed, a very well loved man❣️

He will be greatly missed and we want an opportunity to let him know how much he means to us.

The Life Discovery Board is thrilled to announce our newest Board members: Kevin Green, Rachel Van Hoesen and Scott Davidson. Please wish them all success in their new endeavor! Scott, Rachel and Kevin join existing Board members Elly DeVries (Treasurer), Angie Nelson (Secretary), Joe Hertel (Vice President) and Sonja Yurkiw (President).
The Board is excited about all the new things on the horizon for Life Discovery and a continuation of our most successful programs and ministries like Breakfast Club, Healing from Loss, DivorceCare, and Monday Nights.
We will be adding some new programs and opportunities to get involved in the community with member outreach, fundraising, service to others, party and activity planning, mindfulness and prayer retreats and so much more. Get involved! Reach out to a member of the Board today and offer to head up a committee, join a team, or use your skills and SPREAD THE WORD! Life Discovery is doing big things! Invite your friends and family to a function.
