A huge thank you to great friends of St. Mary’s Food Bank – the Phoenix Police Department. In addition to helping us keep everyone safe during our Holiday Food Distribution, the Desert Horizon precinct held their annual turkey drive and collected more than 1,100 turkeys for hungry Thanksgiving families. They even helped offload the bird with a human chain along with our awesome St. Mary’s Board of Directors. After serving nearly 5,000 families on Monday we expect to TOP that number today. But thanks to so many groups, organizations, and families like yours, we are confident we will have enough for all who visit through Wednesday.
