Dear friends and church family, we’re so incredibly grateful for the prayers, words of support, and donations we’ve received since the devastating fire in the Ark yesterday.

In light of all the great questions that we’ve been receiving, we created a landing page that explains what happened, what the reality of our current situation is and how people can help.

To donate towards the Ark Restoration, visit our giving page on PushPay (linked below and the post mentioned above). Before clicking ‘Next’, be sure to select ‘Building Fund’ from the Giving Fund dropdown menu.

• from Pastor Aaron •

This morning, we woke up to a different kind of alarm. During the night, our beloved gym was set on fire and suffered significant damage. As we walked through the wreckage, we couldn't help but see the memories shining through—the ministry and community that have filled this space over the years. We've shared meals, hosted outreach events, offered heat relief, celebrated parties, cheered on competitions, witnessed baptisms, housed refugees, and so much more. When this space was entrusted to us, we committed to using it to serve our community, and we’ve definitely done that together.

Today, the only room with power was the worship space, so we all squeezed into the sanctuary. It was a powerful time—we worshipped, sang, prayed, sat in silence, and thanked God for His many gifts. Seeing everyone come together was a beautiful reminder of the family we have here, the people who call this place home.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you. So, what’s next? We’re not going to stop. We’ll keep opening our doors, loving our neighbors, sharing what God has given us, hosting meals, gathering in worship, and living out our mission.

How can you help? Honestly, just asking that question means so much to us. Right now, the best ways to help are through prayer and giving—anything you can offer will make a difference. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more. We know we’ve got a tough road ahead, but we’re confident that God will provide and lead us through it, just as He always has.

This past Saturday, a small team soft re-launched gathering with our neighbors in the houseless community with tables on the canal. This was birthed through much prayer and over a year of developing partnerships. Put simply…this time was sacred. It was emotional, it was sincere and a first step in moving back into our core conviction of loving our community well.

There is a lot unfolding and so much to come but we wanted to take a moment to celebrate what God did this past week. If you’re interested in getting involved, keep an eye out for more information!

Affordable Christmas is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to bringing joy to families in need within and around the Alhambra School District during the Christmas holiday season.

Our mission is to collect toys through the partnership of church members and community partners to create a special shopping experience for families facing poverty, low income, or challenging circumstances. This year, our event is scheduled for December 16th!

During this one-day shopping event, families have the opportunity to purchase toys for their children at a mere 10% of the store value. This approach ensures that parents and guardians maintain their dignity while actively participating in choosing gifts for their loved ones.

Redemption community, when we sing this we reflect God's heart for us, His truth, our pain, our struggle and our encouragement to each other. We hope this studio release blesses you as you can continue to pray, serve and encourage each other.

"For the Union" is now live on all the streaming platforms. This song was written for our community coming together to support marriages going through a particular dark period. When we sing it together it's a reminder of God's faithfulness, our responsibility as a community to encourage each other and carry each other's burdens and joys. Hope you enjoy.
