I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to visit Upper Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona before they stopped allowing special tours for photographers. It’s a magnificent slot canyon formed by natural erosion of Navajo sandstone by rainwaters. The frequent flooding sculpts tunnel passageways with magical flowing forms that only nature could create.

During the annual great migration in Kenya and Tanzania, zebra often get lost is the sea of millions of wildebeest. This one stood out from the crowd and escaped the dust and chaos behind it.

Leap of Faith - This is still the most meaningful photo I’ve ever taken. I captured it on my first trip to Kenya to see the Great Migration. It was a life-changing and awe-inspiring adventure. I gained so much respect for the power of nature and the importance of listening to our instincts.

Sometimes the risks of staying still in comfort are greater than the risks of jumping into scary waters to seek growth.

Each time I’m faced with a difficult decision to make a change, I think back to this moment and it gives me the courage to dive in and take my own leap of faith.
