🌟 **Craving the Bread, Rejecting the Bread** 🌟
Yesterday, we explored a profound truth from John 6:24-35—inside each of us exists a struggle between wanting the “bread of life” that Jesus offers and the reluctance to embrace the accountability and action that comes with it. We crave His nourishment but sometimes find comfort in the familiar taste of spiritual “baby food.”
In a world that often prioritizes instant gratification, it's all too easy to lean towards the quick, the easy, and the superficial. But Jesus invites us to dig deeper and partake in the solid food of faith that truly sustains our spirits.
When we truly digest His teachings, we find ourselves equipped to love more fully, forgive more readily, and live more abundantly!
Jesus promises that if we partake in His teachings, we will never hunger again. However, this requires us to examine how we live our lives, the love we share, and the forgiveness we offer.
His message urges us to move beyond the comfortable and embrace the transformative power of the gospel that is filled with stories where love, mercy, and grace abound.
Let’s not settle for nibbling on grace and mercy alone; instead, let us feast on the deeper truths that uplift and empower us.
As we grow, our lives can become beacons of hope and healing for those around us, especially for those searching for wholeness, healing, miracles and comfort.
I, too, am on this journey, and I recognize that none of us are at a higher spiritual level.
Yet, I have experienced the healing power of embracing the hard truths within the gospel.
Allowing God to shape our lives brings us joy, peace, and purpose. Conversely, resisting this journey impacts not just our own lives but those around us.
Today, let us make a choice. Will we remain at the spiritual starting line, or will we dare to step into the deeper, more nourished ground of spiritual maturity?
It’s time to feed on solid food, to be strengthened ourselves, and to share that strength with a world crying out for healing and transformation.
Let’s walk this path together, uplifting each other on our journey towards a richer, fuller faith! 🙏❤️
Join us at Trinity UMC Phoenix on Sundays at 9:30 for our service in English, 11am for our service in Creole and at 1 pm for our Tongan language service.
🌟In a world filled with uncertainties, it’s comforting to know that there is a source of infinite wisdom and love ready to guide us. 🌍✨ When we feel lost or overwhelmed, all we have to do is reach out and ask. Your worries, struggles, and questions are heard and acknowledged. 😊💬
Take a moment today to pause, reflect, and call out to the Divine. Trust that the answers, insights, and revelations you seek are on their way. 🙏📖
Embrace the journey, even when the path is unclear, for there are wondrous things waiting to be discovered.
Believe in the power of your faith and the beauty of divine timing. 🌈🌿 Keep your heart open, and remember, you are never alone. 💖✨ God is ready to answer your questions—just ask and keep your heart open.
May you feel guided this week and may God answer the prayers of your heart.

🌟🌅 Feeling inspired today by Micah 7:8:
"Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."
Life has its ups and downs, but every challenge is a chance to grow stronger.
Even in our darkest moments, there is always a guiding light ready to help us rise again.
Let’s embrace resilience and perseverance, knowing that we are never alone on this journey. 💪✨- Pastor Ivelisse
May this Monday bring you abundant blessings and guide you towards a fulfilling week!

Thank you to all who supported our water drive! Justa Center sends their thanks also. We were able to deliver 58 cases totalling nearly 1,500 bottles of water for those on the streets. You always respond so generously and together we can help our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Joyous Sunday Worship this morning as we celebrated the blessing of the marriage of two of our young Tongan members. The entire congregation joined together to support and pray for them. There was beautiful music and it was a very special day.
Congratulations to Oliva and Miracle and prayers for many blessed years ahead.
Our bottled water drive for Justa Center is growing. We will continue to collect water until the end of June and then deliver it to the day shelter.
This morning we held our formal goodbye for Rev. Bob Holliday. Bob has been at Trinity for 3 years and will enjoy a much deserved retirement starting July 1st. We wish Pastor Bob and Cheryl all the best. After a great service there was a short program with speakers from churches he had served as well as Trinity members. This probably won't surprise anyone but we ended with a potluck and fellowship on campus. I hope Pastor Bob and Cheryl know how much they are appreciated. We will miss them!
We were so blessed this morning to have a visit from Aaron and Courtney Baldridge. They gave a first hand update on the pediatric clinic that they helped start in Guinea. It is a joy to know that Trinity had a small part in supporting their journey s Aaron grew up here at Trinity. In a short period of time the group managed to secure land and build a clinic building and chapel. It's exciting to see pictures of the buildings and the staff and patients they have been serving. They are certainly loving like Jesus. Take a minute to check out the photos. Please keep this wonderful young family in your prayers as they do God's work so far from home. We're glad they are here to refuel and grateful that they took the time to spend the morning with us. God is good!
Come Holy Spirit! Almost everyone rememberd to wear red today to celebrate Pentecost and our graduates. We gathered after worship for fellowship and thanksgiving. God is good!
Won't you join us on Sunday at 9:30 am.
Everyone is welcome!
Today we celebrated Mother's Day with a luncheon for the first time in a long time. It was a wonderful day and we had special guest speakers from A Place for Hannah, an organization that works with incarcerated women and their journey to re-entry to everyday life after release. They provide support, counseling and compassion both in prison and after release. We collected hygiene products and money to support the important work that they do. We had an amazing brunch (food for miles), games and music provided by two of our talented members, Beth and Diana. Another wonderful part of today was the chance to visit with our members and their guests. We learned new things about each other and truly enjoyed each other's company. Thanks to all who participated. God is good!
Late post, but our 1st quarter mission project has been delivered to Justa Center. The truck was filled with new men's and women's socks & underwear, hygiene products and lots of reading material ( gently used paperbacks and magazines). Justa Center is a day center focused on the homeless population aged 55 and up. This is a fast growing population of people. As we have supported Justa for years, we will gladly gather donations all year long. Feel free to share and invite your friends and family to pick up an item if you find a sale. God bless all of you for your generosity.
It was a joyous day at Trinity UMC today. We celebrated the baptism of two beautiful children from our Tongan membership.
We had beautiful music from our choir and we celebrated the appointment through our conference of Pousima Mohulamu as Lay Leader to our Tongan ministries and Osny Augustin as Lay Leader to our Haitian ministries. We are truly blessed at Trinity and thank our good Lord every day for all our members! Everyone is welcome here. Invite your friends and neighbors. They are welcome too!

Our Trinity leaders; Bob Holliday, our Senior Pastor, Pousima Mohulamu, our Tongan Lay Leader and Osny Augustin, our Haitian Lay Leader. Everyone is welcome here at Trinity. Be sure to say hi if you see any of them on campus!
It was another inspirational morning at Trinity last Sunday. Pastor Bob and Miss Gina presented bibles to our 3rd grade Bible Camp graduates. We were graced with music from our Tongan choir and members from our summer community choir. What a wonderful way to start a day!
Tonight Trinity hosted 70+ members and guests to celebrate International Women's Day with prayer and song. The sanctuary looked beautiful and as always the music was amazing. We were even treated to a Hawaiian dinner to take home. It was an inspirational way to end a busy week. God is good!🙏🙏🙏
Last Sunday was a joy filled day at Trinity. We welcomed 40+ new members from Haiti. They were meeting here and made the decision to join the United Methodist Church. We are so grateful for their presence and praise God for this day.
The bonus was a reception where we enjoyed Haitian Creole lunch while visiting.
