Code:Red - Ken Brissa Heat Gun Video
We know it's hot. We feel it when we walk to our cars, when we step outside to take a phone call, or when we open the back door to let the dog out. But what we don't realize is just how hot the concrete and asphalt is. Our neighbors on the street walk, rest and sleep on the smoldering ground. But they don't have to. You can join Phoenix Rescue Mission this summer to hand out life-saving water, hygiene kits, care, and more. Watch this video of our CEO, Ken Brissa explaining the truth behind the temperature. This week is #nationalvolunteerweek and we are so appreciative of every volunteer that has given of their time to serve. Today, we want you to meet Elaine. Her commitment to serving and providing care for those who are in need are just a few of the reasons we love having her!

Day in the Life - Greg
#Volunteerappreciationweek is well underway, but did you know that our residential campus clients get served 3 meals a day? Volunteers like Greg serve alongside some of the clients serving smiles and meals. Learn more about what it's like to be at the Changing Lives Center for Women and Children during the busy lunch hour.

2023 Year in Review
2023 was filled with hope and transformation and we cannot wait to see what God will do in 2024!

Our Winter Wonderland event was a success in great part to our volunteers and donors. Thank you so much for sharing the gift of joy and hope to our neighbors all across the Valley. Our volunteers created holiday magic for our clients and we were able to serve 205 families! 609 children received Christmas gifts this year thanks to your generosity.

Hope Totes Save Lives
Hope Totes save lives. So many of our homeless neighbors feel alone and ignored, especially around the Holidays. Weโ€™ve seen eyes light up with gratitude and heard voices whisper, โ€œthank you for seeing me", as we hand them a Hope Tote. In that moment, theyโ€™re not just receiving essentials; theyโ€™re being acknowledged, respected, and given hope. It tells them โ€œYouโ€™re not alone. We see you. You matter." If you are interested in ways to give this Holiday Season, donations for hygiene products that go inside these Hope Totes are always welcome.

KSLX "Socktober" Donation Recap
Thank you so much to 100.7 KSLX for hosting a week-long Hope Drive called "Socktober" in which listeners were able to donate new socks ๐Ÿงฆ. The final total of socks that were donated surpassed 16,000 pairs! We are constantly blown away by the generosity of our city. These socks will bring a little sense of comfort and hope to our neighbors who need it most. Donations of clothing are accepted year-round at our Donation Warehouse located at 2515 N 34th Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85009. #transformingthevalley

Imagine Rosefield Food Drive
For the third year in a row, the 5th grade students at Imagine Rosefield hosted a non-perishable food drive for Phoenix Rescue Mission and the Hope for Hunger Food Bank. During the Food Drive, they also do a project to learn more about homelessness and the various crises that can lead to it. Our team was able to pick up their astounding donation of food items that weighed 2,707 lbs! We are blown away by the generosity of their community of friends, families and neighbors and the amazing work of the entire class that made this happen!

(1/3) The murals painted in the dining halls of our Transforming Lives Center and our Changing Lives Center celebrate big momentsโ€”the ones where we reclaim our lives, our dignity, and our faith. These masterpieces are a daily reminder to the men, women and children on our campuses that the past does not define them, and the future is a canvas waiting to be painted with the hues of hope and love. They leave the darkness behind, stepping forward into a world colored by grace, forgiveness, and endless possibilities.
