This month KEAR has started yet another project for Southwest Airlines- this one at Nashville International Airport (BNA). The work includes the relocation of 3 existing glycol tanks and installation of 3 new tanks, blending units, pumps and fill stands for both Type I and Type IV glycol fluids. The project will be completed in time to provide de-icing fluids for the upcoming winter in Nashville!

KEAR's team recently held our annual Safety Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. This yearly gathering brings together our team from across the country to review various safety topics and engage in face-to-face discussions on health and safety. We extend our gratitude to our Corporate Safety Director, Joshua Johnson, for his leadership in spearheading the event, and to Marsh McLennan Agency for hosting!

We are excited to announce the start of our 2024 summer internship program by welcoming two new interns, Zander Johnson and Triston Nelson, to our Phoenix corporate office! Throughout the summer, they will collaborate closely with KEAR's experienced team, gain valuable real-world experience, and offer fresh perspectives. We look forward to involving them in professional development, mentorship, and hands-on experience in all areas of the construction services KEAR provides!

This past week KEAR kicked off the Fuel Farm Improvements project at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). As the prime contractor to RDAA, KEAR is performing jet fuel storage and hydrant pump system upgrades, installing a new remote truck fillstand and fleet fuel facility, adding a new Type I Glycol system and performing various electrical & control upgrades.

KEAR's Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) water & wastewater construction teams continue to roll into 2024! Included in our efforts are the construction phases of two CMAR contracts - the Wastewater treatment plant expansion project at Kartchner Caverns near Benson, AZ & the major lift station improvements project for the City of Sedona, AZ. On the design/preconstruction services side we're just kicking off the Mingus WWTP Improvements CMAR for the City of Cottonwood.

Several of KEAR's aviation fueling projects for 2024 are off to a fast start across the country! From 70 degree weather in AZ to below zero bone-chilling cold in NM & KS, our project teams are making it happen!

In addition to our annual Toys-4-Tots toy drive, KEAR employees, family and friends participated in the Arizona Department of Child Safety's (DCS) Giving Tree program. Personalized gifts were given to 35 children during a time of year that can be extremely difficult. We want to thank everyone that participated in this fun way to give back and make the holiday that much better! Special thank you to our marketing manager Carmel Patterson for organizing the program!

Things are moving along nicely at our Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Fuel Farm Project! KEAR recently received and installed three new Jet-A fuel storage tanks boosting the airport's fuel capacity by 150,000 gallons. This is another testament to KEAR's collaborative approach we take with our clients to utilize early procurement during the design-phase.

The sun rises over KEAR's Topeka Regional Airport New Fuel Farm project! Our talented teams have been busy getting the project out of the ground while taking advantage of favorable early fall weather. This $10.2M fuel farm project is scheduled for completion in the early summer of 2024.

KEAR recently completed construction of the Mingus West Offsite Water System Project in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This dual site project included a new booster pump station, masonry building, two new water storage tanks, distribution pipeline and associated site improvements. The new system will feed new and existing homes in the Mingus West Unit 5-9 development.

KEAR's expertise in the construction and upgrading of aging fueling facility infrastructure includes the decommissioning, demolition and removal of outdated facilities. As part of our FOE Fuel Farm Project at Topeka Regional Airport, KEAR is executing phased demolition of two existing fuel farms. This work includes the removal of two pumphouses, 14 - 50,000 gallon Underground Storage Tanks, truck loading & offloading facilities, and related fuel system infrastructure.

KEAR recently broke ground on the New Jet-A Fuel Storage, Bulk Loading System and Facility Improvements Project at the Grant County Airport in Silver City , New Mexico. This project includes the construction of a new 12,000 gallon Jet-A fuel tank, fuel truck rack loading/unloading skid, concrete containment & loading/unloading pads and several site improvements.

Before it gets too hot we squeezed in another office BBQ! The mouthwatering aroma of smoked ribs, chicken and sausage filled our office and yard. We all grabbed our plates, piled them high and dug in! Thanks to our estimator Lance Tollefson for all of the great eats!

This past week KEAR was thrilled to kick off the Fuel Facility Replacement Project at Topeka Regional Airport for the Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority. KEAR will be constructing a new above-ground fuel storage and bulk loading/unloading facility. The new system will allow the airport to continue to support local and regional operations while replacing the outdated existing facilities. We thank MTAA for partnering with KEAR on this project!

PETRO 23 was a huge success and our team enjoyed discussing the services we provide to our government and commercial fueling clients! Congratulations to all of the award winners and presenters on a great event this year!

Over 7 years ago our purchasing manager Eddy Antonelli introduced our corporate office to his golden retriever- Cooper. Cooper made himself right at home and has been enjoying AZ mornings in our yard ever since!

Work is progressing nicely on KEAR's Mingus West Units 5-9 Offsite Water project in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The project includes the construction of two 160,000 gallon water storage tanks, new booster pump building, water distribution pipeline and other facility upgrades.

The Sedona-Oak Creek Airport in Sedona, Arizona is one of the most picturesque airport locations in the USA. KEAR has been hard at work pouring concrete for the new fuel farm which will serve this incredible airport for years to come!
