I recently had the honor of one again being a Sugar Angel for Icing Smiles, Inc. I was tasked with creating a dream cake for a delightful young lady named Brooke. She requested a chocolate cake with the theme of ocean and red. As it turns out, she has trouble seeing things that don't have highly contrasting colors. After struggling with the design for longer than I'd like to admit, I came up with this adorable octopus, and all his ocean friends. Brooke was overjoyed, so mission accomplished!

Being a Sugar Angel for Icing Smiles, Inc. is always such a blessing! We had the opportunity last weekend to bring a huge smile to a wonderful young man's face for his 8th birthday. Braxton's father is a fire fighter, so we decided to honor his love of fire trucks with his very own edible version, complete with his name in hose! He was overjoyed! Rebecca rocked this cake, with a ton of help from Mara with the inner workings.
Between the two of us, I believe this is our 15th Sugar Angel opportunity, and we can't wait for the next!
