Well it's official, today is the first day of summer... although it’s felt that way in Phoenix for some time now ;) The summer heat doesn’t mean you can’t schedule photos! It just means we will need to be a little more creative/open to when and where photos take place. Scheduling your photos in the morning allows for gorgeous temps in the 80’s and I definitely know of some great spots that offer shade which is so important with triple digit temps! Shooting at your home is also a great way to beat the heat!!! Want to shoot indoors with A/C? I have access to a super cute studio space and am available for travel :) I will be offering discounted sessions in the months of July and August... message me for details!

It's October and that means the weather is finally cooling down! Yay!!! I have had lots of interest in weekend dates so I thought I should share that I only have 3 weekend dates still available with holiday turnaround. Don't wait to book your fall/holiday session! Also, definitely let me know if you want to include your fur baby in your photo shoot… especially if you want to have matching facial expressions like this little guy and his dog 😉

I don't know about you but with our hot summer temps I like to start my Fall + Halloween celebrating early! Maybe it's a reminder that cooler + more enjoyable weather is not that far off? Or maybe it is just an excuse because Halloween is my favorite holiday!!! I know the official start of fall, and to some the beginning of the Halloween season, is still a ways off but with the Spirit store by me opening today (happy dance!) I thought what better reason to let my fellow Halloween lovers know that I am offering discounted sessions through the end of this month! Morning sessions offer the coolest temps but mini sessions are fast if you need to schedule an evening session. If there is enough interest for dates in September I would be happy to look into offering discounted mini sessions next month as well!!! SUMMER PHOTO TIPS:

1. Schedule your portrait session at home. We can shoot inside and/or outside. A/C at your fingertips!

2. Schedule your session in the morning. Temps are still in the 70's/80's if an early start time works for you!

3. Document you and your child(ren), significant other and/or pets having fun! What is an activity you enjoy doing with your loved ones? Baking, reading, dancing, playing with the hose, sprinklers or bubbles are all activities that make for great photos and lasting memories!!!

4. Need an updated headshot or marketing images for your business? Consider doing a session in the comfort of your home or office.
