FUNDRAISING UPDATE: Thanks to your donations, we've managed to raise over 20% of our goal to pay off the Lighthouse debt. Also, we've been asked by a number of people about the archive show footage, and we've decided to root through and pull out footage from a particular peformance and sent it to you on DVD in return for a donation of $20 or more.

So if you want to make a $20 donation and receive the raw footage from a particular performance, let us know. Also, if you already made a $20 donation and would like to receive some footage, let us know that as well.

HELP IF YOU CAN! We are asking for donations to the PAY OFF THE LIGHTHOUSE DEBT fund, and here's why: When our landlord chose not to keep our building up to code, we had to close the Lighthouse. We were not yet profitable, and ended up with over $3,500 in debt. We have sold everything we can, and we're still deep in the hole.

So we're asking everyone who enjoyed and appreciated and benefited from the Lighthouse to make a small contribution if you can - anything at all would help! I know many people would love to see a new Lighthouse, but we can't even think about something like that until we pay off the debt from the last Lighthouse.

In the meantime, we will be posting photos and videos from Lighthouse performances, starting this week with the very first punk show on October 8th, 2010. Enjoy, and thanks for your help!

Beginning shortly, we will be posting archive footage from various Lighthouse performances. Also, we plan on putting together a DVD containing performances and photos from the 8 months that the Lighthouse was open Don't know how long it will take, but we have good intentions :) Hope all is well with y'all. Life is beautiful...

We are in the process of assessing our options, and the outpouring of support and offers of assistance that have resulted from all of this have us considering the possibility of building a new Lighthouse at another location.
If we decide to give it another go, it will require a significant fundraising effort, as we simply don't have the money to do it ourselves.

We grateful beyond words for all of your comments and support. It's clear that we all (not just Dave and I and the Lighthouse cast of characters, but everyone who set foot in the Lighthouse) created something special over the past year.

LIGHTHOUSE UPDATE: The landlord has determined that the required upgrades to the building are too costly. Therefore, 243 Bridge Street will remain condemned and the Lighthouse Lounge is closed for the forseeable future.

The Lighthouse Lounge is closed for the time being, and will not reopen until next Wednesday at the earliest. The new Phoenixville Code Inspector has identified numerous modifications and upgrades that our landlords must address before we can reopen for business. All weekend shows are cancelled.
