Wow what a day to be able to come through the food for thought lunch line! Every part of our meal today was made possible by a local farm, garden or community member! What a joy to have local ingredients right at our fingertips. Full bellies and hearts all around!

Welcome back to another wonderful school year at the Food For Thought kitchen! We have been getting adjusted to a new year and a new rhythm and are so happy to be back serving your children delicious farm to table organic lunches. Each day we have one of our staff or parent volunteers write the menu for lunch and the kids just love it!!! Make sure to ask your kids what they got to eat today, I'm sure they would love to share all about it 🥰

Food for Thought at Kimberton Waldorf School
Food for Thought is the organic lunch program at Kimberton Waldorf School in Pennsylvania. We serve organic, from scratch, farm-to-table food to children from K-12th grade. Our own school garden provides a lot of the food. The children plant the seeds, grow and harvest the food, and then compost the the scraps back into the garden. The surrounding farms - most within a 5 mile radius - provide organic, biodynamic meat and dairy. We are so grateful for the food.
