I have been reading on herbs lately, and since the sickness has hit the house, it gave me motivation to make oregano oil. If you haven't researched the benefits of oregano oil, I highly recommend you do. I also recommend researching it fully to see the benefits and how to use with caution. Use only when needed. Does anyone need these for any biodegradable confetti for a wedding soon? Or does anyone love drying flowers out? You can have these for FREE if picked up TODAY. I do not want to toss these beautiful flowers in the trash. Picking our geraniums today. One of our friends showed me the new Instagram post for the biodegradable flower petals, and I loved it. There will be double amount of this when I am done picking.

Let's talk about experation dates. I have been pondering on this for months. What is experation? According to Google, an expiration date or expiry date is a previously determined date after which something should no longer be used, either by operation of law or by exceeding the anticipated shelf life for perishable goods. According to 1Chronicles 17:11 " And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. One thing this verse reveals to us is that our days have an expiration date. On earth, we have shelf life."
Things that come to mind with an experation dates are food, medicine, flowers, and we even have a shelf life by scripture. Our life has an inevitable last day that we can not dodge going towards our day of judgment. Do you ever wonder why the God of the Heavens and Earth put experations on His creations when He could have just made everything to last? If nothing expires, then how would we rely on God for tomorrow? Seasons end and begin. I often view some of it as a rebirth. Winter ends, and spring begins. I also view it as we need those experation dates to rely on God. The business we are in, we could lose a whole $30,000 crop in under 10 minutes. If that means a bad storm, snow, or a heater goes out in the middle of the night. Flowers expire with inadequate watering, temperature, soil, or fertilizer. Flowers can't get too hot or too cold while maturing. Flowers are a risky business, but you know what? It has strengthened our relationship with God so much more than what it was before we decided to do this business. I have seen a change in my husband by putting his faith in God and watching him witness God's divine plan and protection. Flowers have an experation date. We plant them, but God grows them.

We had a big day today at the farm! Some of the Piedmont agriculture students decided to come work this Saturday to help us get ready for spring. We enjoyed the fellowship, hard work, and teaching them about the flowers! Our helper Carson from Spring Garden school was also a big part of our progress for spring! They worked a full 8 hours and planted over 2,235 plants and filled 1,600 pots of dirt! These kids are awesome! Thank you for all of your hard work! Yall rock!

We have the best Sunday school class. They came out to show support and prayed over our strawberry crop after church. We have never prayed over strawberries before, but we do believe in the power of prayer over everything! Our church service was even about reaping the harvest of what you sow. God is good!

Please say a prayer over our farm and especially our 1st strawberry crop. There are three different series of Strawberries but a total of 6,700 plants in the strawberry patch. We are excited to see the outcome of it in picking season and maybe expand it if it does well. Pray for a bountiful harvest, sweet berries, protection from weather, and protection from strawberry loving critters. It is alot of hard work, teamwork, and love. 🍓

The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Psalms 85:12
