There’s no better day to celebrate the GRAND OPENING of the Palisades Park swimming pool than on National Swimming Pool Day!

Today is the day we have anxiously looked forward to. Pool opens at 11 this morning. Stop by Town Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. TODAY to purchase your pool pass. Pool pass prices are as follows:
$75 for a single pass
$200 for a family pass with from 1 to 4 people on the pass
$30 more on a family pass for each additional person

There's no such thing as the perfect pool day. . .or is there? (Swim) suit up and come celebrate with us.

The offices of Pineville Town Hall will close at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024. Regular office hours will resume on Friday, July 12.

Experience the historic Wyoming County seat of Pineville, West Virginia like a local every First Friday of the month! Make an evening of it in historic Pineville where this family-friendly event transforms downtown into a high energy scene of live music, friendly faces, and local flavor every First Friday of the summer months. We are excited to announce the continuation of the First Fridays series on July 5, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a vibrant array of activities set to light up the downtown area along with promises of fun and excitement for all ages.

The event will continue as scheduled, rain or shine. The event will only be canceled for safety in the case of severe weather or lightning. Main Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic for First Friday.

Let’s get ready for summer fun in Pineville! Thank you, Mayor Hatfield, and everyone else who has worked to make this happen.

In observance of West Virginia Day, the offices of Pineville Town Hall will be CLOSED on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Regular office hours will resume Monday, June 24, 2024.

ANNUAL PATRIOT MOTORCYCLE RIDE
MAIN STREET IN PINEVILLE, WV

The Town of Pineville will host the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1144 out of Iaeger, WV on Saturday, June 1, 2024. All Veterans and over 100 motorcycle riders will be welcomed to the town. Plan to come out Saturday morning around 11:15 a.m. and line Main Street to show your support for our U. S. Veterans and their families.

The Patriot Riders will participate in a full military honor guard presentation on the Court House lawn at the Vietnam War Memorial at which time Wyoming County Board of Education President Allan Stiltner will accept the wreath on behalf of the Wyoming County Veterans. The ceremony will include a 21-gun salute and “Taps.”

If you wish to ride in this event, registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Iaeger Volunteer Fire Department. Kick-stands up at 10:30 a.m. This is an annual fundraiser for the VFW Post 1144. Call 304-938-2586 for additional information.

We will resume with regular business hours on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Pineville Town Hall will be CLOSED Friday, December 22, Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26 for Christmas. We will reopen with regular business hours on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. The Town of Pineville follows the State of West Virginia holiday schedule.

Two Hour Delay:

Due to the ongoing winter weather advisory and current road conditions, Town Hall will open at 10:00 tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

The National Weather Service is predicting that rain will transition to snow this morning with a chance of snow in the higher elevations to accumulate after 1:00 p.m. From one to four inches of snow is expected for Wyoming County through Tuesday morning.

As a result and out of an abundance of caution, Town Hall will be closing today, Monday, December 18, 2023, at 1:30 p.m.
