Have you ever wondered what else we can do to take care of our planet❓ Well, there’s something that’s not always taken into account 👇🏼

Responsible travel refers to the behavior of travelers aspiring to make choices on their trip according to sustainable tourism practices.

That’s why the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) encourages business and leisure travelers ✈️ to choose sustainable accommodations and sustainable travel providers. How can we know❓ It’s easy! If a hotel is sustainable, it will be certified.

How about we all start traveling more responsibly❓

✨Kiss the Planet✨

That’s Bali Balm's motto, and they source only 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣% natural ingredients.

They don’t use animal or animal-derived products, such as honey🍯.

Also, they don’t test their products or ingredients on animals. Instead, they test on human volunteers, so they can ensure that the production of their balms don't negatively affect our fellow creatures.

Why is reducing carbon emissions so important❓

Here are just a few ways it can help👇🏼.

✅ Save lives: the levels of pollutants in the air can detrimentally affect our health, leading to chronic health conditions and premature death.

✅ Ease the burden of the healthcare system: poor air quality exacerbates health issues for people with pre-existing chronic conditions.

✅ Protect wildlife: Carbon emissions cause the greenhouse gas effect, which is affecting our climate and the wildlife that can't adapt to rocketing temperatures.

✅ Reduce wildfires: wildfires and carbon emissions are part of a harmful cycle.

Comment below if you know any other benefits of reducing emissions!

Why should we be taking better care of bees❓

Pollinators, like bees, are essential to feed a growing world population in a sustainable way and to maintain biodiversity and an active and productive ecosystem ♻️.

So, the reduction of pollinator populations can also lead to an increase in the levels of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases, worsening human health problems worldwide 🌎.

Comment below with your favorite thing about bees...and don't say honey! 🐝

We were looking for a project to get inspiration from, and that’s how we found ✨A Growing Culture✨

The majority of food 🍎 globally is produced by smallholder farmers and producers.

A Growing Culture is a nonprofit focused on advancing a culture of farmer autonomy and agroecological innovation.

They aim to reframe the way the world 🌎 views farmers, facilitating collective learning and catalyzing innovation through farmer-to-farmer exchange.

Tell us what you think about this nonprofit 👇🏼!

Today we want to present a well-known activist: Jane Goodal

She’s known and recognised for her study of chimpanzee social life 🐒.

In 1️⃣9️⃣7️⃣7️⃣, Goodall established the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI), which supports research and preservation, and she is a global leader in the effort to protect chimpanzees and their habitats.

But that’s not all: she also founded the Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Rehabilatation Center in the Republic of Congo to care for chimpanzees orphaned due to the bush-meat trade.

Wanna know more about her work❓ You can read her books, watch documentaries, or simply google her for more❗

How does society become more sustainable❓

Building green 🟢 is quickly growing (pun intended) into one of the coolest ways to minimize the negative effects of society on the planet

Buildings—new and existing—have a huge impact on the environment. By implementing green features and using renewable or recycled and salvaged materials, home and building owners can live more sustainably ♻️ and greatly reduce a building’s impact on the environment and the climate 🌎.
What are some other ways to live more sustainably?

Your shampoo needs a buddy, right❓Yes, of course, and they have to be on the same level!

Presenting Balearic Conditioner Bar to complete your eco-friendly haircare team💪🏼.

It’s inspired by the reddish copper islands in the Balearic Sea, whose inhabitants sold a mineral product called sinope of the same color to painters in ancient times.

✅ With vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B5, vitamin B7 and oils like Argan, Babassu, and Jojoba, this is a great option to take care of your hair without harming the environment. Like our shampoo bar, it lasts a REALLY long time and is more than 50% larger than the average conditioner bar on the market.

Did you know that the majority of shampoo bars are saponified❓ That’s the chemical reaction that’s needed to make the kind of hand and body bars you've seen all your life.

So why are some brands selling it as a shampoo? Saponified bars are great for the body, but when it comes to the scalp and hair they can be very damaging due to having the wrong pH and being too stripping. And that's why we created a real shampoo bar 👌🏼.

It has even better ingredients than you would find in a regular shampoo, but it’s waterless so it doesn't need any plastic packaging and it lasts a really long time 💦🚫.

If you try it out, let us know what you think! 💪🏼.

Is it a given that to care for our needs we have to harm the environemnt❓ No, it’s not❗

That’s why we believe in making products in a responsible way👇🏼.

Presenting ✨Celtic✨, a shampoo bar inspired by the bright blue waters and sky of the Celtic Sea.

It’s naturally acidified with Vitamin C, giving it the same pH as the hair and scalp. It has quality ingredients like Argan oil and nothing that isn't plant-derived!

It's good for normal, oily, and dry hair as well as all ethnicities and hair types. It's also full of amazing ingredients like Vitamin E, C, B5, B7, Ylang Ylang and Goji Berry extracts and natural plant alternatives to silicones. It's as good for your hair and scalp as it is for your face, so ditch your saponified or liquid shampoo bar and give Celtic a try! BTW, it's also much bigger than the average solid shampoo bar on the market!

Do you want to know more about the Celtic shampoo bar? You can visit our website 🌐 and find out more ❗

Recycling ♻️ is essential to reduce waste around the world. But, is this the only impact❓

No, there are other reasons to start recycling, and here are five of them❗

✅ It keeps trash out of landfill
✅ It reduces pollution
✅ It conserves energy
✅ It reduces our need for new raw materials
✅ It creates jobs

Although recycling isn't a long term solution or a replacement for using eco-friendly material, it's still worth it to ensure existing materials don't end up accumulating in the environment. Go for it, start separating recyclable waste 🗑️at home❗

01/14/2022

Plastic grocery bags are totally outdated! ✅.

🔹 Try shopping for groceries using reusable bags

One way to reduce the number of plastic grocery bags in the landfill is to use reusable shopping totes. Look for bags made of cotton, h**p, or other natural cloth or mesh and wash them between visits to the grocery store.

Plus, you can get them in pretty much any design you want!

The apparel industry has taken some flak for some of its labor practices, but what about the materials? Let's talk about eco-friendly clothes! 👕

There are tons of options that are as comfortable and fashionable as they are good for the planet!

Here’s the top 3️⃣ most eco-friendly fabrics we can use to make our clothes (or buy them, of course haha):

🔹 H**p
🔹 Linen
🔹 Cotton

And no, your Grateful Dead h**p sweatshirt won't ever go out of style!

Are you looking for tips to make your house eco-friendly ♻️❓ Well, you’ve came to the right place!

🌱Compost your food waste🌱
It’s possible to turn most food waste and kitchen scraps into compost.

There are compost bins that can be bought very cheaply from many home/DIY outlets and some refuse services will offer to give them free of charge to households.
Now the question is how to get started! 🤷🏼‍♀️. Simply scrape any leftovers or old food into them along with paper products that haven't been printed or coated in a synthetic material. Over time, it will turn into useful compost that can be used in the garden 🌱.

Check out places like Reddit's r/composting for more information, tutorials, and all you need to get started!

Not everyone knows that health is a human right that the WHO Constitution envisaged in 1️⃣9️⃣4️⃣6️⃣: “...the highest attainable standard of health as a fundamental right of every human being.”

But, what does this mean❓ The answer is simple and complex at the same time. It creates a legal obligation on states to ensure access to timely, acceptable, and affordable health care of appropriate quality.

States also have the obligation to provide for the underlying determinants of health, such as safe and potable water 💧, sanitation, food, housing, health-related information and education, and gender equality.

How does your country's health system work❓

♻️ Gender Equality
♻️ Clean Water and Sanitation
♻️ Affordable and Clean Energy
♻️ Decent Work
♻️ Industry Innovation and Infrastructure
♻️ Reducing Inequality
♻️ Climate Action
♻️ Life Below Water
♻️ Life On Land
♻️ Peace and Justice
♻️ Partnerships for the Goals

Wow, it’s a long list, right❓

Today we want to talk about waterless products💧. We recently discovered something that really made us think and rethink our habits.

At our current consumption rate, the World Wildlife Fund predicts that by 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣, two-thirds of the world’s population may face water shortages. Isn’t this alarming❓We sure think so, and that’s why we started thinking about what we can do.

This is when water-free products appear as a potential solution to this issue. More and more beauty companies are starting to roll out powder-based cleansers that morph into foam when activated in the shower 🚿 instead of shampoos and washes.

Are you prepared to start using powder-based products❓
