A circa 1900 hinged folding oak 4 tin pie safe . Very clean and solid . A folk art cattle company sign made from a 1800s barn door . . An unusual circa 1904 , five stack quarter sawn oak barrister bookcase . The bookcase is in the original finish . A well made oak Hoosier cabinet with a flour sifter , sliding pie shelf and a spice rack in excellent shape . We hope to see you Saturday .

A 7 foot long heart pine pew in excellent condition finished both front and back .A rare flip top ,screened , circular countertop pie safe . A Miller High Lite desk top light . A circa 1890s country oak map cabinet with paneled sides . A number of country and primitive items including a pine bench, an oak whiskey barrel , a really neat small apothecary cabinet and an 1880s wagon whiskey barrel . Two 100 pound signed anvils [ Crescent and Taylor] . An outstanding 1800s , 20 tin pie safe with wide hand hewed boards on the back ,mortised construction and original shelving that would provide lots of storage .

An unusual early printers cabinet with all kinds different size drawers . A circa 1890s Dilworths country store coffee bin with great stenciling . An unusual circa 1800s apothecary cabinet with roll up tamper doors and cubby holes. A painted candy store display case [on top of the apothecary cabinet] from the early 1900s . Loads of country and primitive smalls including dye cabinets , hanging cupboards, sugar buckets , etc. Coffee advertising kegs and an assortment of other advertising items . A well known antique dealer in our area is downsizing his outstanding collection of country antiques . The sale will start at 7 AM each day at 6709 Charnel Lane, Climax , NC . The location is just 20 minutes north of the Liberty Antique Show .

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be closed on Saturday , April 20 and 27 , 2024 . We will be exhibiting at the Liberty Antique Show in Liberty , NC on Friday , April 26 and Saturday , April 27 in Spaces Q1 and R1 . The show starts at 8 AM and ends at 4 PM each day . The Liberty show is one of the top shows east of the Mississippi which annually attracts 10,000 to 12,000 spectators . We hope to see you at the show .

We will be setup at the Vintage and Antique Popup Spring Market in Wake Forest , NC The show is on Friday and Saturday , April 5 and 6 from 10 AM to 6Pm on Friday and from 8 AM to 3 PM on Saturday . A 6 place set early blue splatter ware that includes a plate, berry bowl and deep well plate per setting .

A two door claw foot quarter sawn oak bookcase with 4 glass shelves ,a carved crown piece and columns . A 12 tin circa 1800s pine pie safe that offers plenty of storage area . A very unusual 6 drawer , two vise turn or the century pine workbench that would make an excellent kitchen island or bar . The workbench includes a pull out work pad and original country store pulls .

The barns and cabin are full with a great variety of antique furniture and accessories for our annual winter open house . Here are just a few of the new additions . A circa 1850s cherry buffet / jelly cupboard . Hand hewed drawers , doors and back . All original and ready to go in your home . We have a large number of benches and primitives . A circa 1850s pin wheel dough table with original red milk paint and pe***ng . The table has storage area under the top , which swivels on a log peg and folds out into a full work table . There are two 1800s wooden pumps with original paint and stenciling including a fold up laundry rack with a roller . We hope to see you on Saturday .

A 3 stack oak apothecary cabinet , including a top and bottom [5 sections] , with 150 original wooden drawers . It comes apart for easy shipping . We actually have two of these identical cabinets in original finish and hardware .They date in the early 1900s and come from an old watch factory . A circa 1890s oak apothecary counter that would make a great kitchen island or store checkout counter . It features 30 wooden drawers with original country store pulls . An unusual tampered roll-up front oak bookcase /storage cabinet with locking key . The front roll is adjustable and can be lowered to expose one or all shelves . A 6 foot oak seed counter with glass display bins on the front and 8 deep drawers on the back . Approximately 5.5 feet long . Perfect for a kitchen island . Several trunks ranging from the late 1700s through the early 1900s . All either refinished or cleaned up ready to go in your home . An oak Hoosier and a decorative curly maple chest of drawers . We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday . Rain or shine.

A circa 1890s country dental cabinet that would be great to store jewelry ,coins or other collectibles . An unusual Honey Crust bread cabinet with an original metal sign and labeled sides . An 8 foot 11 inch pine store counter from the turn of the century . A cobblers bench complete with tools and a caned seat from the 1800s . This piece would make a great coffee table . There also are many more newly arrived smalls .
