Today we were lucky enough to be invited to donate some of our small batch, fresh made ice cream to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Pittsburgh. Thank you to all of the Bigs who sacrifice so much of the time and their heart and make our community stronger, healthier and filled with love.

We’d like to take a moment and mention the passing of one of our favorite and most loyal customers, Susan Kearns.

She was a special person and always gave us so much genuine love whenever she visited the store. She had 12 grandchildren and always ordered each of them a special Bruster’s cake for their birthday…each designed according to her thoughtful and loving details specifically for that grandchild.

She befriended our in-house cake decorator Romy and they had a special relationship.

We’re going to miss her smile and warmth…and we’ll be sure to take the positive energy and love she gave to us and pass it back to the rest of our loyal customers.

Thank you Susan. You will be missed.
