One of my favorite pictures of EVH.

Renowned for his exceptional talent, Alex Van Halen is widely regarded as one of the best drummers in the world. -> Update. I missed a few others.

Missing this guy today and everyday.

Very true. Best guitarist in history.

This of course is my opinion - there will never be anyone who will ever come close to the level that achieved.

Why? He was a master of all the things that go into a great player. Tone, style, originality, rhythm, songwriting, creativity, appearance, energy & engineering.

All the planets aligned with EVH and I still believe that God blessed Ed beyond measure.

The only other players in hard rock/metal who came close were/are George Lynch & Randy Rhoads.

Again, that’s my opinion. I guess because Edward is no longer with us some people think the throne must be passed on. It never will be.

We will never live to see another guitar player who perfected literally every single mark of a great guitarist.
