We had some very special visitors today! Forbes Road CTC Veterinary Sciences program spent the morning touring the shelter! We had our Training and Enrichment Team , Wildlife and Medical Team come and explain all the wonderful things we do here at HARP!!

A very big THANK YOU to Toni Sessa for making wonderful gifts to our Street Dog Coalition clients and patients! She made 20 beds as well as 13 food filled bags for the owners and 13 treat bags for the pets! They will receive these gifts on Thursday! Many THANKS again for all of your wonderful and heartfelt work!!

Emaciated Dog Found In Riverview Park Last week, Animal Control officers found a dog abandoned on a blanket in Riverview Park. She was severely emaciated and dehydrated, and was brought immediately to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh's East End shelter for urgent medical care.

Today our foster pups were served their very own Thanksgiving dinner ! Thank you to the volunteers that put these meals together and Nicole from our foster team who organized getting our pups their dinners.
